Cute little spot! Everything tasted fresh and bright. The ceviche was honestly better than ones I’ve had in Mexico. Tacos come in twos - we tried the fish and carnitas and both hit the right spot. Tuna tostadas were great too. Friendly service, no complaints. We’ll definitely be back.
Great for casual date night! We got the $50 pp menu, which was a generous amount of food for the price especially nowadays in Toronto. Everything was really tasty. Highlights were the ceviche, the churro, and lamb(?) tacos (not pictured, we ate it before we could take a pic).
My gf found El Pocho on Reddit, and since then we’ve been back at least 8 times lol! We recently chose the shareable courses from the menu, where the chef curates your meal. I believe it was at least 3 courses. Ceviche, chips & guacamole, 3 taco varieties, and dessert. You can select from meat/pescatarian/vegan preparation.
