This place is great for Colombian food. You can tell everything here is made fresh and authentically. It's definitely a staple on St. Clair West.

My family and I love El Rancherito! The food is sooo great. They have many options on the menu that we rotate through. We recently had a baby and now we bring him as it’s a family friendly restaurant. Staff is always amazing! Obsessed with their in house hot sauce.

They gave me the minced meat from the previous day, all stiff and poorly maintained, the meat was bad, the boss said that I should post a review instead of solving it.

El Rancherito is a fantastic spot to experience authentic Colombian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a lively, colorful ambiance that feels like a little piece of Colombia. The décor and music set a festive and cozy atmosphere, perfect for family gatherings or casual meals with friends.

The food is the real star of the show. Their bandeja paisa is a must-try, featuring generous portions of perfectly cooked meats, plantains, rice, and beans, all served on a traditional platter. The flavors are rich and hearty, making it a great dish for those who want to indulge in authentic Colombian comfort food. The ajiaco soup, with its creamy broth and tender chicken, is another standout that captures the essence of Colombian home cooking.

Their selection of tropical fruit juices, like lulo and maracuyá, are incredibly refreshing and complement the meals perfectly.

Service is excellent—attentive, friendly, and always ready to explain the dishes if you’re unfamiliar with Colombian food. The wait staff makes you feel at home, and the food arrives promptly and fresh.

Overall, El Rancherito is a must-visit if you're looking to explore traditional Colombian flavors in a warm and welcoming setting. The authentic dishes, generous portions, and excellent service make it a top choice for anyone craving Colombian food.

Price went up but service and quality of food went way down was charged extra for a hot sauce on a $170 order, learn how to keep your patrons. The fish was so dry it wasn’t edible. Not a fan of new owners, server inhospitable won’t be back

I don't recommend the "beef soups" I think they are called... They have to find a better chef, that is not soup, that is water with two cilantro leaves, if there is another good dish, then let me know.

Sooooo GOOD!!!! Definitely swing by and check it out. We are from Rochester, NY but my husband is Colombian and we love to find a nice colombian spot wherever we go. The food was delicious. Service/staff was great and super friendly. Atmosphere was nice with the music. It was a little hot inside but nothing you can't deal with. Looking for a colombian spot in Toronto. This is it!!!

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu.
