Those those who are going downtown to visit the market, absolutely beautiful. A great ambiance for sure. Festive drinks are expensive, $20 for a hot chocolate yikes. Bring your wallet. lol. Outside of drinks and yes it's the Ritz, customer service was great, small area but have been told Friday and Saturdays are packed . A lot more people which is great if that is what you're looking for.. 1st year running so hope to see more of this. Overall must see and experience. Opened Monday to Friday 4pm to 10pm Happy Holidays Everyone.
Amazing food, beautiful Christmas ambience on the terrace and the usual 5 star service. Never ever a disappointment!
We came for the Christmas market which was small but pretty. However it was so disorganized and the bartenders were ill equipped to manage the customers. They had run out of many things, did not have the correct garnish for these expensive ($24 ) drinks and were so inefficient serving them and hence had long lineups. In addition the drinks were poorly created with wine spilled all over the sides of the glasses and really not up to the standard one would expect in a Ritz Carlton hotel. It is a nice concept but definitely needs some work.
Loved our experience at Epoch. The food, drinks and service were excellent. How we got there was the issue. We had come for the holiday market (booked on Open Table). No one asked for our booking. We went outside saw nothing but lines for hot chocolate with marshmallows (doesn't compare to a Cluny's hot chocolate or Colours of the World) and substandard looking food. Definitely not how it was portrayed on social media. A fail I would say. Would have been nice as an exclusive opportunity with some comfy chairs and tables with table service. It looked beautiful but I don't come to the Ritz for an everyday experience.
Great anniversary lunch thanks to Chad and the staff. Chad was attentive and provided great food and drink recommendations. Top notch hospitality from a real pro!
Always amazing food and service. Outside was lovely, especially with the fires lit to keep the chill away.
Epoch was a great place for dinner. We ate early on a Saturday night in order to get to the symphony. There was a Leafs game that night so restaurants in the area were all busy. Our waitress was very attentive despite being run off her feet. The blackened cod & tuna steak were both well prepared & presented. Our dessert was very tasty & the cappuccino served hot & at just the right time. We finished up at exactly the time requested, satisfied & having had a leisurely 2 hour dinner.
Risa was incredible. Thank you so much for a lovely experience for me and the girls! I also very much appreciate the chef being able to accommodate the vegan dietary restrictions! I will be back again!
We had a lovely time celebrating my friend's birthday! They gave us their brookie (brownie + cookie) dessert with a candle and a nice chocolate happy birthday sign on the dessert - and they were happy to move us inside because the weather was cold (so attentive!). Would recommend the Wagyu burger, it was so good 😊 Everyone enjoyed the food, and said they'd definitely come back.
We have been there many time and the overall experience is excellent. The service is always top notch and the ambiance is good both inside and outside when the patio is open highly recommend it.

Celebrating a friends birthday with afternoon tea at Ritz and I was disappointed. We had 2 servers, first server tried and we appreciated his efforts but it wasn't Ritz standards. Second server didn't come to table we had to ask someone at the bar for assistance ordering drinks. It was not busy so I don't understand why we had to look for her. The food was okay but not great, we had to ask for extra jam and cream as they brought enough for one person and there were 3 of us. Value didn't equal the price.
We came to Epoch Bar & Kitchen Terrace at the Ritz-Carlton to celebrate my friend's birthday. I brought flowers and kindly asked our server if he could provide a vase. His response was vague (“not sure if we have one, but we'll take a look”), and he walked away. Despite coming back to our table a couple of times afterward, he never acknowledged my request or gave me an update. Eventually, I had to leave the table and ask the front desk directly. Only then did the server finally bring a vase. This was disappointing and surprising—especially at a venue like the Ritz-Carlton, where guests often celebrate special occasions. It shouldn't be difficult to accommodate something so simple. The lack of attentiveness and communication overshadowed what should have been a joyful experience.
The Ritz never disappoints. Epoch was a lovely time. The staff and service are always exceptional. I was early, waiting for a friend for her birthday celebration, and John (bartender) was super attentive and kind while I waited. The bourbon bread pudding was a nice treat. Vibe is intimate and comfortable and never pretentious. Thank you for the incredible hospitality.
Such a lovely place with absolute beautiful ambience. We just walked in on one of the busiest nights but yet we were served with such elegance. I would also like to thank Ani who was very friendly and polite, suggested us some delicious menu items. Best experience ever, definitely coming back again!!!

I was restaurant hopping, and came to EPOCH just to end off my night with dessert yesterday . The peach bread pudding was absolutely DELICIOUS - 10/10. The portion was generous and pleasantly sweet. The staff were very kind, and the indoor atmosphere was cozy, very quiet, and rich. I enjoyed myself.
