Such a lovely place with absolute beautiful ambience. We just walked in on one of the busiest nights but yet we were served with such elegance. I would also like to thank Ani who was very friendly and polite, suggested us some delicious menu items. Best experience ever, definitely coming back again!!!

I was restaurant hopping, and came to EPOCH just to end off my night with dessert yesterday . The peach bread pudding was absolutely DELICIOUS - 10/10. The portion was generous and pleasantly sweet. The staff were very kind, and the indoor atmosphere was cozy, very quiet, and rich. I enjoyed myself.

EPOCH’s afternoon tea service is delightful! You are presented with at least 12 different tea options and get to choose one from there. Then they bring out the tower of goods, which has one of each thing per person.
The scones were fresh out of the oven - one plain and one cranberry - and had a lovely pot of devonshire cream, a pot of strawberry jam, and a pot of rose petal jam which was absolutely fantastic! All the sandwiches were so good, but I was blown away by how good the mini lobster roll was. If I could have done four of those in place of one of each kind, I totally would have!
By the time we got to the desserts, we were starting to hit our limits (afternoon tea services are deceptively filling). We managed to try a bite of each item, and the stars were the mango coconut pavlova and the tonka chocolate caramel tartlet. Our server was kind enough to bring us take-home boxes for our unfinished sweets, and we weren’t even remotely hungry for dinner.
The service was impeccable. A few days before our reservation, I got a call asking if there were any dietary restrictions that needed to be noted, which I’ve not had before. When we were running late due to bad traffic, they were totally understanding and were able to adjust our time slot with no issue. Our server was attentive and very sweet!
The price of the meal is on par with most higher-end tea services in Toronto - it came to a little over $110 after tax and tip. With the service, food quality, and overall ambience, I feel as though that price is worth it!
All in all, we had a great time at EPOCH for afternoon tea and I absolutely would go again. I look forward to seeing what other tea services they come up with next!

2025.08.30 Lynch at EPOCH Bar and Kitchen located at Ritz Carlton, downtown Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦. I was amazed by their service in particular customer service. Food was delicious. We sat outdoor on the terrace. We were attending a very special lunch celebration.

Great atmosphere to grab a drink. John Mendoza takes pride and ownership of the quality of drinks he provides to the consumer. Happy to meet such a great bartender to make the guest feel welcomed.

Lovely place but we had to leave as we sat for about 20 minutes by the fireplace outside for drinks and nobody came to take our order.

Great bar where they remember your name and if weather permits excellent back courtyard with nice breeze. Still serves complimentary sweet and salty nuts + wasabi covered peas which is rare to find in bars these days and does great offsetting price of cocktails. Well worth the detour. Try the oysters with yuzu pearls.

Came with a friend for the afternoon tea set and really enjoyed the experience. The tea selection was impressive- they bring out a box of tea leaves for you to scent before choosing, which adds a lovely touch. I tried their new seasonal tea, Eros, since the description sounded unique and the fragrance was divine.
The afternoon tea set itself was delicious. The scones were freshly baked and easily my favorite part. I also really enjoyed the savory lobster roll and chicken sandwich. The desserts were beautifully presented and delicate- especially the mango coconut pavlova, which was a standout. I wasn’t a big fan of the chocolate caramel tartlet, but my friend loved it, so it definitely comes down to personal preference.
Overall, it was a lovely experience with great quality tea and food. At $80 per person, it’s definitely on the pricey side, but I’d recommend it for a special occasion, particularly for the tea and savory components of the set.
