I’m still surprised that I live in this area and hadn’t discovered this amazing café before... I absolutely loved it. The vibe, décor, lighting...everything is spot on.
The service is excellent, my latte tasted incredible, and I also ordered a cinnamon roll that was delicious. I will definitely come back to this place to read and enjoy some quality time with myself.

Although the coffee was pleasant, the customer service and overall atmosphere was cold. Felt almost unwelcome and judged, so left within a few minutes. At least I got to have good coffee.

In Toronto, most coffee shops and roasters offer the same fare, and nothing stands out. But Ethica goes above and beyond in ways that make it one of my favorites. Their specialty drinks are exceptional. The decor and thoughtful seating arrangements create a welcoming space. They stock 10% cream and won't judge you for using it (unlike many third-wave shops in town that act like you've committed a coffee crime). The beans are delicious, and the graphic design and packaging are delightful. Love this place.
