Evviva Breakfast and Lunch

Evivva was the brunch hug I didn’t know I needed. The food came out hot, fast, and actually seasoned (rare these days!). But the real star was Maxene, who might be the Beyoncé of brunch service—on beat, flawless, and making sure we stayed fed and happy. 10/10 would brunch again just for her energy alone.

Note to anyone gluten free: They have gluten friendly options, but if you are celiac, their gluten free bread is toasted in the same toaster as gluten bread. Their home fries contain wheat however, their french fries are gluten free but done in the same fryer as gluten items.

The location is beautiful but not worth it if you are celiac or wheat intolerant unless you are just going for drinks. The maple iced coffee was really good!!

Fantastic experience at Evviva!
Sandra was incredible. She took care of us with genuine warmth, perfect timing, and the kind of friendly energy that makes a meal feel special. Everything came out just the way we hoped, and she checked in at the right moments without ever hovering.

She made our visit feel effortless and enjoyable — easily one of the best servers we’ve had in Toronto. Big thanks to Sandra and the team at Evviva for a great dining experience!

The food was delicious and the drinks were on point. Sandra was absolutely amazing and so attentive to our needs, especially our 18-month old child. 10/10 would come again.

While the food and servers at Evivva are great, the way they operate on weekends is awful for a few reasons:

- They do not take reservations on weekends and therefore customers are often waiting outside (now in the cold) for a table to open up. They don't even have heat lamps to make the lengthy wait more comfortable
- They sit groups of 2 at tables meant for 4 or more
- Their text reservation system tells you to return to the restaurant when your table is ready but then you learn there are still 3 people ahead of you

They 100% need to allow reservations on weekends. I am sure they lose many customers due to the wait times, especially in the winter.

The decor is really stunning, the fluffy pancakes were delicious and Anthony was the best. We went to catch up with a friend and weren't rushed so we had the best time.

First time visit: Enchanting place! There was a vegan menu, so I didn’t have to second guess if anything is vegan. Anthony also checked when my friend ordered dairy with coffee to ensure they, since we were ordering everything else vegan, which was a consideration I greatly appreciate and because of that I will be back!
