I really wanted to give this café 5 stars but settled on 4. I’ve been coming here since before the name change, and while the coffee is always excellent, it’s truly the team that makes this place shine. Hunter in particular but also the lads are always warm, friendly, and full of great energy.
I hate to single anyone out, but one female barista has a consistently somber attitude and unwelcoming demeanour that can noticeably shift the atmosphere. I wouldn’t mention it if it were a one-off, but it’s been a recurring experience. Otherwise, this café has great coffee and wonderful people who make it worth returning to.

This is my favourite café in Roncesvalles. The coffee is always perfectly balanced - not acidic or burnt - just smooth and flavorful. I only drink my coffee black, so it really needs to be good on its own, and this place never disappoints. I usually get either the medium drip coffee or an Americano, and both are consistently excellent. The granola cookie is the perfect midday snack, especially with coffee. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure. They were formerly Extra Butter Coffee and have recently rebranded to Affect Coffee - same great people, same great quality!

I love this place, it's always reliable but I came to write this review to specifically beg for you guys to get different cups T_T. They always ALWAYS drip on me guarantee even if I am careful to put the lid on and not fill it up too much. Most of the the baristas there are always very kind and nice. Croissants are fire 🔥 and I always get their granola cookies.

This is my regular neighborhood, coffee shop. In the 11 years I've been coming here I have never had anything but exceptional coffee.
I Stopped in today to have a decaf Americano, which was excellent. I also often purchase their decaf beans.
As someone who loves but is attempting to cut back on the caffeine, Extra Butter's decaffeinated beans are the best that I have found anywhere in the city
As I truly believe that coffee shops are an important place to meet and have meaningful conversations, this is an excellent venue for a coffee and a chat
Very cute café with some seating and vegan options, including treats from Bad Attitude, which is lovely. Somehow it always feels better when Gabriel is there, what a gem :)

Love this coffee shop! Best one in Roncy. Opens early and most holidays. Definitely the best croissant in the city. Not pretentious and lovely staff.
