It is a great classic of the area, and has been around for quite sometime, and with good reason.
The croissants are some of the best I tried in TO and their Chai Latte is made with actual tea and not with the syrup I see most café use for it.
The ambience is just great, with people all over the neighborhood coming to meet there, people of all ages, and the staff is (usually) wonderful.
I liked their blueberry scones better when they were a bit less cooked, but it is a detail.
I recommend Ezra's to anyone, but remember that you cannot charge your computer as power outlets are blocked, so come prepared if you want to work there.

Went today for the first time, due to lack of time only tried the chocolate chip cookie and I must say perfect sweet and perfect crunch, loved it … not to forget the barista was very kind and friendly.. definitely going back to try their coffee

Exceptional quality coffee with the service to match. I really enjoyed this place during my months in Toronto.
Great, quiet cafe! Coffee’s pretty good and cheap for the city, and the food isn’t bad (though it is a little expensive for what it is). The service is great, they’re happy to bring your food and drinks to you and the patio is like a little oasis (aside from the occasional train horn)

Pastry is good, but the cafe has no utensils and napkins on display and I have to ask each time! I didnt want to bother the staff so much but...

What a lovely cafe! The iced latte with oat milk and pain au chocolat were both delicious, and the service was great.

Had a delicious iced mocha and blueberry scone here and will definitely be back. A lovely little place with great coffee and pastries and a relaxed, lived-in vibe.
Both of the baristas were warm and welcoming while delivering drinks to customers quickly.
You can always tell a good café by its clientele, and seeing patrons of all ages starting their day at Ezra’s is a ringing endorsement for this one.

Cappuccino was good. The grilled cheese was below par for the price I paid.

Used to love this place but the guy with mask has ruined it. He gets my order wrong EVERY TIME. I always ask for oat or almond milk and he gives me regular milk. Sweetened tea? No sweetener. Black coffee iced? Gives it to me hot. Earl Grey tea? Gives me chai. I have never met someone so inept in my life and he really ruins the vibe. Genuinely will not ever go back if I see him there (btw, I am not referring to Alex, I am referring to the other guy with a mask who is new)

I used to leave nearby so I would come every weekend to get my coffee and breakfast sandwich. I came back today after almost two years and remember why I love it so much. Staff is super nice, the atmosphere of the place is always so light and serene. I couldn't get my hands on one of those breakfast sandwiches, but try they're granola with yogurt and it was amazing, super fresh, made on the spot. I don't even know what to say about the coffee, for sure one of my top three shots in town. I will visit more often now!
