Great hotel, lovely staff and a wonderful experience. It’s very close to the train station, however being in the financial district you have to travel further away to get to places you want to go.

I have to start by saying the staff at fairmont royal are great. Very polite, great service . I appreciated that! The rooms however, I was highly disappointed for the price. I have stayed in far better rooms for less. I wasn’t expecting extravagant, but I was at least expecting what I would receive in a 4 star or even 3 star hotel. Plus to top it off, if you wanted a fridge, that wasn’t standard like majority of hotels. You had to pay additional , what a joke. So far the worse hotel I’ve been in.

The hotel is too old and dark, looks like underground tunnel. The bathroom was too tiny and the entire hallway carpet was smelly. Not worth your money.

Room was very nice, we had great access to Union Station, and every experience with the front desk was effortless. My only complaint is that the wi-fi is only free for All Accor members, and after you sign up, you still have to ask the front desk for access. If there’s anything that can be done to automate that process from registration to be able to connect to wi-fi, this hotel would be an 6/5.
Wonderful stay. Clean room, great service, excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again in the Gold room.

Great location (right in front of Union Station), clean room, very comfortable stay and it’s surrounded by amazing restaurants and activities!!! (Walking distance to harbour front, CN Tower, Rogers Center, St-Lawrence Market, fun Queen’s Street etc.) Staffs are great as well! I would love to stay again when I visit Toronto again!

We arrived to the hotel a couple hours early and with the heat we thought we would try and check in early. The front desk staff were the most friendly I think I’ve ever experienced at a hotel and they were able to check us in early so we didn’t have to lug our bags around for extra time. The room itself was very clean with a nice view—no complaints from me! I highly recommend if you want to stay in the heart of downtown Toronto!
