Not so fancy after all. My chili dog was overflowing with a mediocre saucy ground beef lacking in beans and any flavour other than salt. Too messy and not worth it. Would be prefer a simpler dog at any street vendor. 😒
Found hair in my hotdog that was disgusting never going back 🤮
Very good.
Takeout
Hot Dogs and burgers are not only filling, but juicy and delicious. The Backbone of Western Culture. Frank's Hot Dogs don't fall flat on the promise of our culture. 🍔🤤
I have never tried a dog yet here, but the burger was way too delicious for me to eat it fast. So I took my sweet time savouring every tongue dancing bite, every fairly priced swallow, every conveniently located on Toronto's College Street scent of this extraordinary burger that I will never forget consuming. 🥰❣️
I pray that one day, by some weird chance, I get landlocked on an island with a million of these burgers. They would probably all be gone within only a few weeks though, and I would develop fatty liver disease. 🏝️
Thank you Frank's for making my time here financially and deliciously worth it. 🍔
Fancy Frank's on College Street: My Awesome First Visit! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
My first time at Fancy Frank's on College Street was amazing! It's so much more than just a hot dog stand; it's a really great restaurant.
I bought and ate the PANKO'D hot dog 🌭, and wow, it was crispy and delicious! I also got the TWISTER poutine 🍟, which was a super cool and tasty take on poutine. You can tell they use top-notch ingredients.
Their toppings are gourmet—think beyond basic ketchup and mustard! The sweet onions, crispy bacon, and special sauces are incredible. Even the buns are fresh and perfectly toasted.
The place has a fun vibe, and the staff are really friendly.
If you're on College Street, you have to try it. I'll definitely be returning!
Every time I’m in the Spadina College area I like to go to Fancy Franks for some of the best poutine in the city. They have a variety of options and the meal size always fills me up so don’t come if you don’t have an appetite.

Ordered chicken tenders and poutine. The chicken tenders were cold and they are just some frozen Jane’s tenders - pretty disappointing just make your own in house nobody wants frozen ones. Poutine was pretty good but won’t be ordering again from here.
Big fan of this place! As a UofT student, my friends and I frequently grab dinner here. Their donuts are great to share while eating a burger or hot dog! Plus, they have a student discount!
