The food, service, and the homely nature of the people will be the best things you experience here. If you’re missing the taste of Delhi, come here and enjoy the butter chicken and don’t forget to order the family garlic naan.

Food is excellent, staff friendly. They really need to clean the downstairs area to the washrooms...beautiful dining room, excellent meal then filthy stairway and hall to the bathrooms.

Update Dec 2025...quality of food has declined.

We went here for the first time and it is now my favourite Indian restaurant. The food was very very good!! The service was excellent! If you want an easy breezy dinner out with delicious food go here!! And take your friends.

Was near Sherway and found this place to have food. A but hesitant to go since it seemed like an old place etc. but the vibe inside was chill. We were greeted very warmly. We were recommended the Achari paneer and their speciality daal. Forgot the name of the daal. Got the family naan as well which was huge. The paneer was out of this world. Very very tasty. The daal as well was just finger licking good. Loved everything. The chef came and made sure we were happy. Would come here again!

We ordered takeout. The food we got was atrocious. Not just an apology for Indian cuisine, but objectively bad cooking of any culinary variant.
The Biryani: an insult to the dish. The lamb was desiccated, almost like jerky, the rice was the cheapest quality imaginable, and the dish was dry without even a hint of gravy or moisture. As to the flavour, there was zero spice complexity, just heat. Not even the lightest touch of the warming spice blend that makes biryani such a magnificent dish.
The Bhendi Masala: A disaster in the opposite direction. Instead of a fragrant, dryish dish, it was served as a slimy, bland stew. And a Bhendi Masala is never slimy. At least not when someone knows how to prepare okra.

I strongly recommend saving your money. There are significantly better choices relatively close by.

Our go to place for fresh home made Indian food. The place itself is a little whole in the wall restaurant in a small plaza but don't let its size fool you. The food is delicious, the owners are friendly and the place is clean. We have never eaten inside always take-away!

Came with friends and had a great experience. The employees were very friendly and generous, and gave us extra gulab jamun so everyone could try. Would definitely return

Really nice restaurant! I got takeout for 7 people on recommendation of a friend who lives nearby. All of the dishes were very flavourful and the portions were good. They were a bit delayed in preparing our order but the owners here very apologetic and gracious, they brought us snacks and dessert on the house to make up for it :) As others mention the garlic naan is fantastic! We also had butter chicken, chicken biryani, paneer mahkni, lamb korma and aloo gobi. All were very good, but I thought the lamb and aloo gobi were particularly good! I also saw some food served for table service while I waited and it looked very good as well for dine-in.

One of the best restaurant in GTA, they have the best Kadai Paneer, butter chicken and garlic naan i have ever had and the vibe inside the restaurant is soo good that it feels like you’re eating at someone’s house, they have a family size naan which is good for one person, The restaurant owner is very friendly and even accommodate at last minute and start preparing food the moment you give order, nor before, especially naan, i go there and eat whenever i wanna have a fine dine-in.
