We had a very disappointing experience at Figo. Party of 2 booked a 5 pm reservation before our 6:30 pm TIFF showing. During the hour and a half we were there we were served one drink and our appetizer, which only came out after an hour and we followed up. By 6:20 pm the pastas we had ordered at 5:10 pm were nowhere in sight while all the tables around us that had arrived after us already had their food. When we finally had to call it and leave without dinner, the staff did not handle it well: the comment was made that he didn’t know we had to be out at a certain time. However, the reservation policy itself says a maximum time of an hour and a half, so it should have been plenty of time based on normal dining standards. The restaurant still charged us for our drinks: so all in all we paid nearly $60 to sit at a table and watch other people eat. If the staff had owned the mistake, comped the whole bill and apologized we would give it another chance but under the circumstances we will absolutely not be returning.

Arrived at 5PM and by 6:30PM we had to leave because our food (party of just 2!) hadn’t even arrived yet. Was charged for the full meal even though we only had the zucchini fritters. There is no excuse for disrespectful service.

The food was delicious! Service was mediocre. Small tables with dirty dishes sitting for a long time makes things uncomfortable. Waiter walked by us and didn’t bother to pick them up. A lot of standing behind the bar doing nothing rather than checking on the tables. The restaurant wasn’t that busy at that time.

Stopped by for brunch on the weekend. Noticed a sign outside for 10% off food for same day theatre ticket holders and also applies for movies! Nice little extra savings. Enjoyed brunch (got the steak/eggs) and service was excellent. In particular wanted to give a shout out to Zach there.

Calamari was great, not pictured and the lemon aioli it comes with is so yesty and tangy, absolute perfection. Pictured below- Diavola pizza (staple!), primi dishes were smaller portions as expected but very tasty- bucatini al Ragu and Angello brasato (lamb pasta). Tiramisu and affogato were great. Servers were very nice and 1 of the desserts were on the house for our special occasion. Prices are comparable to other restaurants downtown- minimum $30-50 per person. One of my go to restaurants for an upscale meal downtown.

Came here for brunch with friends during the summer and we had a great experience. We sat in the patio area, so the atmosphere was lovely. Although it can get a little noisy, this is nothing new when you sit outside. It's great for socializing and people watching since the location is great! Food was good and servers were friendly.

We reserved a table for 2 on Feb 1 for 7:30pm. We reached there at 7:00pm. The lady who worked as a host at that time considered that we are walking in even when we had a reservation and were just half-an-hour early. She offered us a bar seating even when we had the reservation of a low top table telling us “you are walking in that’s why I can just offer you a bar seating”. I went back to her to request if she can accommodate us if possible as there were lot of empty tables. She replied rudely ” I can’t give you any table as we are completely booked till 9pm” even when her manager was standing next to her. That poor thing forgot that even I was one of them who booked at table for 7:30pm. Listening to that, her manager replied me back in a very polite way that he can look if there is any availability and will shift our table accordingly! All the other people working there very extremely helpful and welcoming! They very really very detail oriented in terms of what we ordered and the food was really good. I would really appreciate if the manager looks into their hosting services and make sure that this doesn’t let their restaurant down. That lady was a big ZERO in terms of hospitality!

It is 1st Feb, 7:45 pm. The host (curly hair) was very rude. We had a reservation of 7:30 but we arrived at 7 pm. We were given a bar seating. When asked if we could get a table, we were told that they only offer bar to walk ins!!! When I was leaving I was trying to open the door and I was about to say thank you, just before that she said “YOU ARE SO WELCOME” with an attitude. Food was great. Bartenders were amazing. But that hostess was just ruining the vibe with her words.

Stylish spot for girls night out; loved the decor. Food was good but nothing special for an Italian restaurant. Skip the zucchini fritti, a but too oily. The Daviola pizza and butternut squash ravioli were delicious.
