Had a great experience here recently with Ceasar & Maya as my bartenders. I came in to watch one of the Real Madrid games since I was in town with no where to watch it (I'm not from Toronto). They have many happy hour specials for food and drink, I tried a few of the cocktails and chatted a bit with both bartenders - very cool people! Will definitely coming back to visit if I come to town again anytime soon.

I had a disappointing experience at Firkin on Bay on Nov 1, 2025. The host, Gabbie, asked me to give up my table after 15 minutes because my full party hadn’t arrived, which I accepted if applied evenly. However, another group with only half their party present was allowed to keep their table for two hours.
When I asked about this inconsistency, the explanation kept changing, from “full party required” to “80% occupancy,” neither of which that group met. Gabbie seemed personally invested in that group, going out of her way to justify and bend policies she had just enforced on me.
As the only visibly minority in this situation, the contrast in tone and leniency stood out. Whether intentional or not, it came across as biased, exclusionary, and unfair. I hope management reviews this and addresses the inconsistency and bias in how guests are treated, and there is a clear record should similar conduct occur again.

Pretty solid bar to watch sports. Tall bartender guy was getting slammed during a Jays game but did a solid job holding down the fort.

Kent if you are still the GM of this location and you are reading this : your OG staff is absolutely uninterested in doing their job. Waited for 15 min to be greeted, wanted to get more drinks but no luck as the OG bartender was too busy chatting with Travis lol. Decided to leave and to spend my $ elsewhere.

Fairly nice bar with a good atmosphere, some unique British decor, and big TVs for watching the Jays Game. The happy hour deals are decent but for such a busy night they seemed understaffed because the food took a while to come and the girl serving us seemed overwhelmed, although very nice. Food and drinks were good but not amazing, I enjoyed my Moscow mule.
Great pub on Bay streets had a nice Stella beer with a nice steak meal to go with it cannot complain. Customer service was exquisite and very satisfying to myself and all my friends and colleagues. Great job!
