This is one of my first experiences of Turkish food, and, boy, did it open a world for me! Since coming here I have been on the lookout for more tasty Turkish food, and this has been one of my favourites. The dips were so tasty, especially the red pepper one. Loved the charcoal bread that it came with. The char and flavour on the meat was a party in my mouth, and the other elements on the meat dish made the meat shine. Lovely presentation for this one! I would gladly come back here!

If you love high quality freshly prepared food, you should give this place a try. This is a small family owned restaurant. They take a good care of their customers. The service is great and food is amazing. Keep in mind that main course portions are pretty big.

The conversations were delightful, adding a personal touch to the already incredible dining atmosphere.The menu boasts an impressive variety that caters to every taste. Each dish served reflected not only exquisite taste but also showcased the chef's expertise. The flavors were perfectly balanced, leaving me craving more.I highly recommend Flame to anyone seeking not just a meal, but a memorable culinary journey. Pretty terrific meal here! Of our appetizers, the pacanga was the star--or perhaps the variety of options was the star, since it was far from the usual meager hummus thing. The bulgur patty was not my thing, texture-wise, but hey, now I've tried it... The mains were fantastic, with the lamb skewers and the super-moist chicken breast skewers being our favorites, especially as they were accompanied by some really tasty garnishes (broiled clementines, onion salad with sumac). The three of us had two orders of laz boregi for dessert, and I think we might go for just one the next time, as they were huge and intensely sweet.The staff were wonderful and the food came to us quickly and efficiently. The plating of food added to its charm, as the black platters set the food off so dramatically, it felt like an occasion to eat there! One bit of a drawback to the ambiance is that the place is a bit smoke-scented, the same as it can be in a tabletop bbq place. Personally I don't mind that, but a friend of mine can't take it, and I won't be bringing him here though I know he'd love the food. Hm, maybe they do takeout...

Great design, fantastic flavours and look. Even though I go to turkish restaurants a lot this was a new experience. I rarely taste new flavours anymore and the food was interesting and new and delicious to me.

First time here and did not disappoint. The atmosphere is super intimate yet busy. The service is impeccable especially the complimentary charcoal bread that was served tasted absolutely amazing. And for main course had the chicken breast skewers dinner, the simplicity of this dish has left me wanting more…it’s packed with flavour and meat was cooked to perfection and was juicy and tender, hats off to the chef !!! Would definitely come back here again.

i went here last week, and I just had to post a review. This is a great spot. If you live in the neighbourhood you should definitely go. the kebabs were freshly made and grilled over charcoal, the mezzes were great.It’s a family owned restaurant and it has the vibe of somebody who cares about the place. I’ve passed by many times and never really knew what it was but it’s really really good Turkish food.
