It's a shame that this legendary, iconic eatery has become a shadow of its former self. My parents and grandparents had fond memories of this place and dined here often back in Toronto's golden days. However, it's now just a ramshackle neighbourhood dive bar, with little character. I ordered an "All Day Breakfast", my bacon was cold and my over-easy eggs were uncooked and jelly-like (making the toast next to them soggy). As much as I love patronizing historical eateries, some should have been allowed to fade away with dignity. The Flamingo is one of those. Service was prompt and friendly, though, so at least there was that.

Always a welcoming place, owner mike is very hospitable! Always made sure our drinks were filled and replenished. The cheese burger that goes for 7.50 was super delicious!! Great value for beer and food.Always will be coming back after a long week of work.

It's a dive in otherwise beautiful and eccentric area.You pay after each drink. I drank 2 beers and left no tip. Husband and wife owners and servers.There were 2 patrons in a huge place on a busy weekend.I wouldn't go back there even if someone paid me to do so.
Excellent spot to buy food when in a rush. The customer service is efficient, rates are fair, great character. Keep up the good work

i waited 2 hours until the waitress came and took my order, was told to wait 40 min. ,but had to wait another 2 hours to get dinner. Very nice atmosphere but slow service.It could be amazing place, but definately they have to work on cook and serving time..Otherwise its beautifull!!!
