Flipper's Event Space (Former Flippers Fish House)

We had two take-out orders of whole Florida Snapper with vegetables and rice for lunch.Both fishes were quite large with a lot of delicious meat cooked perfectly and the vegetables were tasty.

Love this place, always get the whole bran ink and even through Uber it still comes hot. A little pricey and last time the gave me seabrem as a replacement l…. Not cool!

Good quality food always nicely presented even if it's just a little pricey. The staff are very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Even the owners come and check on your table and see how everything is to your satisfaction. The decor is especially tastefully done with a nautical theme throughout. The salad bar is also very good as it is continuously being refreshed.Since I last reviewed the restaurant there has been a dramatic changeStarting with the sale to three Sri Lankan owners who are actively tearing apart everything that made that restaurant so quaint. Their treatment of longtime full-time staff it's deplorable by cutting their hours salad bar is gone which was a big hit for a most out of the patrons and the food is turning more ethnic as time goes on which chases some of the regulars out.The rustic feeling of an old dockside restaurant with delicious and reasonably priced fare is gone.All in all I must give this restaurant now a one star.Sorry to say but as of June the 15th there is no more restaurant. I love me some halibut and chips but I find that finding places that make amazing halibut are few and far between these days but once I tried this establishment, I'm glad I've found a place to go that actually does it right and the service was good as well. I recommend trying

We had an awesome dinner experience at Flippers. Char Grilled Lobster is a must try. The restaurant is so nice with its mariner theme and the staff is professional , friendly and super efficient. They have taken the time to get every detail down from the lighting to the cleanliness. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much.

Haven't been to my favorite fish and chip place for quite a while, was craving it tonight so went and picked up halibut and chips, without a doubt still the BEST fish and chip place in Scarborough !!!! Flippers Fish House

Tasty fish and chips and friendly staff!

I visited this old longtime seafood dining establishment located in Scarborough’s White Shield Plaza for the first time since the new owners had taken over management of its restaurant and banquet hall facilities. The date of my visit then was back on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

I arrived there a minute or two after the restaurant had opened for the day. When I walked inside the entrance, I was relieved to find that the surrounding nautical marine-themed decor in the area around the bar and the dining space had remained exactly the same as I remembered it being since the last time I had visited there for dine-in during pre-pandemic times when the original owners were still running ship.

Had a wonderful, delicious lunch here (seared sole) on February 2, 2022. The service was fabulous too! I am looking forward to coming back here for lunch again soon,

Wouldn't necessarily recommend. It's a hit or miss really.
Definitely not going back.

Ordered feisty seafood boat. This was supposed to be a combination of shrimp, mussels, scallops and calamari. I got like 3 pieces of calamari, 2 scallops and 2 shrimps. Rest was a whole lot of mussels. Very Disappointed.
