We had two take-out orders of whole Florida Snapper with vegetables and rice for lunch.Both fishes were quite large with a lot of delicious meat cooked perfectly and the vegetables were tasty.

Good quality food always nicely presented even if it's just a little pricey. The staff are very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Even the owners come and check on your table and see how everything is to your satisfaction. The decor is especially tastefully done with a nautical theme throughout. The salad bar is also very good as it is continuously being refreshed.Since I last reviewed the restaurant there has been a dramatic changeStarting with the sale to three Sri Lankan owners who are actively tearing apart everything that made that restaurant so quaint. Their treatment of longtime full-time staff it's deplorable by cutting their hours salad bar is gone which was a big hit for a most out of the patrons and the food is turning more ethnic as time goes on which chases some of the regulars out.The rustic feeling of an old dockside restaurant with delicious and reasonably priced fare is gone.All in all I must give this restaurant now a one star.Sorry to say but as of June the 15th there is no more restaurant. It is currently being renovated to become the fourth banquet Hall. Another good restaurant bites the dust. Of

I love me some halibut and chips but I find that finding places that make amazing halibut are few and far between these days but once I tried this establishment, I'm glad I've found a place to go that actually does it right and the service was good as well. I recommend trying

We had an awesome dinner experience at Flippers. Char Grilled Lobster is a must try. The restaurant is so nice with its mariner theme and the staff is professional , friendly and super efficient. The seafood was excellent and very well presented. It was on the eve of father's day. I had a grilled platter of Kalamari and Mussels in marinara sauce. My friend had a seafood combo with rice medley. I would strongly recommend this place which has maintained an excellent reputation for 50 years.

This place checks everything you expect in a dish. Fresh everytime and blows you out of the water!! One of the best food I have tasted post-Covid. Mind blown. Keep it up! Seared Tilapia ($19). Comes with Seared Tilapia fillet, seasoned veges and rice medley or potatoes. It tasted so fresh n seasoned perfectly. It reminded me of my mom's cooking. Definitely worth it!!The other one I ordered was the Flipper's special ($26).it comes with a fillet of sole,3 shrimp, 2 scallops and two halibut fingers plus the rice medley and veges. Seared Tilapia was my favorite but this was fresh n tasty as well!!*Must try*

Just had the Flipper's special and while I would say 3.5 stars is more accurate, I'll just round up and explain. The filet is so tender and the vegetables with the medley rice cooked in oregano is really good. The filet sauce is also really good. But the fried stuff is just too oily and the overall portion compared to what you pay is a little on the small side.

This was our first time at this restaurant. I had the halibut fish and chips with coleslaw and my husband had the steak and shrimp. with veggies and rice. Both meals were very good and great size portions! Our server, I believe her name was Gia, was very attentive and nice. We will definitely be going back!

Purchased a variety of dishes. All were very good. Obvious use of quality ingredients. Nice size portions as well. Did a quick walk through of the premesis. Nice simple, themed decor, ideal for a sit down meal. Will definitely be eating from there again.

Simply amazed by how tasty the food is! We have been looking for good quality and tasty whole Branzino for over 6 years in Toronto. We had high expectations and Flipper's didn't disappoint! Good quality, tasty food at an affordable price! It doesn't get better than this.

Ordered the Roasted Herbs Panko Tilapia, the Seared Fillet of Sole with Dill & Lemon both with rice and veggies and the Mussels Marinara. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The staff was friendly and helpful since I was ordering for the first time.Will be go back and introducing my friends and family to Flippers Fish House.
