Had dinner Saturday evening, August 16th between 6:00pm - 8:30pm. My experience: waiter was condescending in pushing alcohol, and challenging why we were not drinking. We eventually ordered a bottle, and after letting him know that a couple of people only wanted a taste, he literally poured 1/4 of a glass of wine in their glasses. Ordered 6 main courses (3 meats and 3 pastas). The meats arrived, and the pastas arrived 8 minutes later. The lamb pappardelle had no lamb, mostly mushrooms and the pasta was overcooked. Not their finest moment, and not planning on returning.

We visited Florentia on a weekday evening to celebrate my aunt’s birthday and enjoyed a variety of dishes: grilled calamari, an eggplant antipasti (the name escapes me), salmon with vegetables, linguine with shrimp and veggies, and a pizza. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and most importantly, our birthday guest was very happy with the meal.
In terms of service, we arrived with a stroller and kindly requested seating near the front to make it easier to step outside if our baby became unsettled. We were told those seats were reserved, although they remained unoccupied throughout our visit. The location we were placed in made it difficult to step out discreetly, and we had to walk down a hallway toward the washrooms each time our baby cried, in an effort not to disturb other guests. A bit more flexibility with seating would made a noticeable difference for families with young children.
Something to keep in mind if you're seeking a quiet, ambient space, this may not be the right fit. The restaurant is quite small, and once the surrounding tables filled up, the noise level rose noticeably, making conversation a bit of a challenge

I dined with a,friend for Summerlicious on July 18.2025. The menu options for dinner were amazing. The food did not disappoint. We had appetizers of the arugula walnut blue cheese salad and mussels. The mussels omg were divine. Main course we had the baked snapper with pasta also delish and light. Dessert was turamisu and tartufo...also good but we were filled and couldn't finish. The best thing was our server ROBERT and I put his name in caps bc he was so friendly and always checked to ensure we enjoyed each part of our meal. Robert gets 11/10. We'll go back 4 sure.

sooo good. server tonight (longer black hair) was a sweet guy and super charming. I had chicken parm and bf had veal parm. it was super good, super tender and delicious. The bread was awesome too. Thanks so much! ❤️ from Edmonton

No thanks, I left.
Checked Google Maps and down the street to Positano, loving professional greeting, and right away made accommodations for gnocchi that is normally just for brunch. Lovely staff. Delicious food. What I was looking for.
Proper warm greeting is a standard for me, and my standards do the walking.

Best restaurant in the neighborhood. Amazing calamari- it’s rare to get perfectly grilled calamari these days. The portions are a great size- come hungry! Servers all Very knowledgeable and friendly. Bit of a hidden gem here.
