Our bread and the potatoes weren't fully cooked (bread was doughy and the potatoes were still partially raw), this happens sometimes the rest of the food was pretty good but the waiter was fairly rude and standoffish the whole time. We came right as they opened so we figured maybe we had caught them by surprise or whatever but when we pointed out the undercooked food the waiter got defensive, and started asking us what we wanted. We did get new potatoes that were fully cooked this time but not once did we hear the server apologize for serving us undercooked food.Maybe it would've been better if we had gone later in the evening? I honestly don't know ?

Florentia is a lovely local restaurant where you immediately feel right at home. The pizzas/pastas are delicious and the service is unmatched, with incredibly thoughtful, friendly, and attentive staff. It’s a neighbourhood gem, and we are already looking forward to coming back!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Florentia. We started our evening with perfect Manhattans and our appetizers and main courses were all delicious. Our waiter was fantastic...very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. We definitely recommend Florentia!

Reliable and open when others aren’t. Great people, always happy to support. The liver is great and the mushroom Marsala with veal or chicken is excellent. Would

One of the worst Italian meals of my life. I couldn’t even eat the food because it was so terrible and we weren’t asked how it was. The young waiter was super inexperienced and the older one was horrible. Do not eat at this restaurant. My partner doesn’t like wasting food so he choked it down and nearly threw it back up.

I’m happy to share my experience at Florentia, an enchanting Italian restaurant that has truly won my heart. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the utmost warmth and friendliness by Robert, who truly made us feel like family. The menu at Florentia offers a delectable array of Italian delicacies, and we started our meal with the Cozze Marinara appetizer. Oh, what a delight it was! The mussels were cooked to perfection, tender and succulent, swimming in a rich and flavorful sauce that had our taste buds dancing with joy.Moving on to the main course, we indulged in the Manicotti and the Penne Al Salmone. The dishes were prepared with utmost care and using only the freshest ingredients. The Manicotti had a perfectly balanced blend of creamy ricotta cheese and tomato sauce, while the Penne Al Salmone featured tender salmon pieces complemented by a delightful sauce. Each bite was a harmonious explosion of flavors, leaving us completely satisfied. No Italian meal is complete without a decadent dessert, and we couldn't resist trying the tiramisu. It was the perfect ending to our extraordinary dining experience. The layers of delicate sponge cake soaked in espresso and decadently creamy mascarpone cheese were a true work of art. What impressed us the most was that the sweetness was just right, not overpowering, allowing the flavors to shine through. All in all, our time at Florentia was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm hospitality from Robert to the incredible flavors, this eatery has truly captured the essence of Italy. I highly recommend visiting Florentia for a memorable dining experience that will transport you to the heart of Italy.
