The hu tieu was absolutely delicious and brought me back to my time living in Ho Chi Minh City. Server Sophia is very friendly and is from Ho Chi Minh City; the food is truly authentic. I'll be back soon!

The hype is real! This super-authentic chay (vegetarian) Vietnamese restaurant is as close to the one I've eaten at in Vietnam as anything you'll find over here. I'm fairly confident that I've tried every vegetarian pho in Toronto and Flower Lantern's is the hands-down winner - rich, flavourful broth, huge portions of noodles, and a sampler of every Asian-style mock meat they have on offer elsewhere in the menu (standouts in the soup being the faux chicken and faux bbq pork). I've never had a bowl of soup that left me so content and satiated. Was impressed enough to get a banh mi to go, can't wait to have that for lunch today!

My fav restaurant in North York! So many options and all of them are usually amazing. Plenty of vegan options!

We ordered for take-out and although the flavours were good, there were some quality issues.
Items we ordered:
- Mock Grilled Pork and Chicken with Rice (great portion and tasty)
- Mock Meat Rolls (fresh but somewhat bland even with the peanut sauce)
- Vietnamese Congee (on the sweeter side which is odd for congee)
- Vegetarian Fried Rice with Olives (small portion, flavour was there but the rice was hard and burnt)
- Vietnamese Pickles Fried Rice small portion, okay flavour but again, the rice was hard and burnt)
- Soup with baguette (bland)
We love supporting local businesses and vegetarian restaurants! But the experience with the food quality is quite disappointing. The flavours were somewhat lacking as well. As many others have also mentioned, the portions generally are on the smaller side for the price. Maybe they were having an off day but it will be a while before we return to try again.
I gave two stars as I support vegan/vegetarian restaurants. It was a disappointing experience. The portions are small compared to other Vietnamese restaurants with the same food price. One noodle dish is not enough for an adult. The images on the menu do not represent the food served. The restaurant should do better to retain customers.

This is a TooGoodToGo surprise bag experience review.
I reserved an $8 surprise bag which turned out to be only and exclusively rice. Nothing but rice. It was my first time trying the restaurant and I was hoping this experience would make me a returning customer but this is an overpriced container of sad carbs. For context, this week, a 4.5kg of rice at the grocery store is $10.
There were more varied options left at the store too (see pic). When asked if the store could provide a tofu option, the clerk said no

The host wants to save the plantet by reducing her carbon footprint. She was very polite ready to customize the food.

Got miến măng vịt (vermicelli soup with bamboo and mock duck) and hủ tiếu Mỹ Tho. Both were very tasty and came in big portions. Owner was helpful helping me get some vegetarian pantry items too.

Really great tasting vegetarian food. I am addicted!
Food was great, bamboo shoot and golden curry soup. Felt great in my body. The staff were so nice
The girl answering the phone didn’t understand English—she just kept saying “hello,” then paused for a long time and hung up.
