The only bar that matters in parkdale. Amazing staff, great beer, and if you're eating make sure to get the chicken balls

Long story short, I was in the neighbourhood due to a family illness, I needed to grab a drink and some food to take my mind off of things. I googled “Patio” and ended up here.
Tie was the bartender, there were a few regulars at the bar, after half of my first drink we were immersed in conversation and the distraction I was seeking was more than fulfilled.
The atmosphere of this hidden gem is unassuming yet incredible.
I could not have asked for a better experience.
The friendly aura and memorable experience during a difficult time instantly made me regret that I didn’t live in the area and wasn’t able to call this place my local spot.
If I’m ever in the roncesvaille area again, I know where I’m going.
On top of the friendly reception, and experience, the food was incredible!!
I highly recommend the curry cauliflower dumplings and the wings as well.
This place literally gave me a random evening that I will never forget.

As a celiac, I had a great experience here. While gluten free items weren't marked on the menu, and there's no dedicated fryer, the staff was knowledgeable about what I could have. The kitchen uses tamari instead of soy sauce. We came at a quiet time and they brought out our two gluten-free items (fried rice and ribs) before they started making the third non-GF item, which was very reassuring. Amazing staff and the rib sauce was super flavourful.

Service and atmosphere were great! The food was not worth the price, a small portion and tasted funky.

This is my friends and my favorite spot! The cocktails are amazing, the dumplings are fantastic, and the chicken honey balls (not sure if that’s the exact name) are absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is also incredible!
This is a place where you can go and feeeeel like what it's like to be surrounded by genuine people. cast away televisions... go here. it's what you want. I love this place.
Incredibles
It's a great place for a date or a friend hang out. Atmosphere is aces. Service is better on the non-busy nights. Cocktails are a bit pricey but totally tasty. Menu: half is good, half is not. Music is OK. Regulars know better than I and usually just do beers at the bar seats. All other seating is annoying high stools. Sunday is trivia night, it's fun and kinda stupid. Overall, if you're looking for a decent bar/snack place near Queen and Roncy - recommend. Cold noodles, maylay beef, puff pastry chives - SO GOOD. Dumplings were not great, maybe not anything rice either. Give this place a shot, you prob'ly won't be disappointed. Especially if you're in the hood. Also: they're pet friendly - a boston terrior visits often. That's a PLUS!

Vegetarian review :
Hidden gem on Queen Street, it’s has a calm cozy vibe and the service is really good.
They have a limited Chinese inspired menu and everything can be made with tofu or veggies.
We ordered Tofu cheese fried rice and fried enoki mushrooms (very crispy), a must try.
Cocktails were okayish, I ordered Christina Lychee but it was more of a lemon flavour than lychee. They have a wide variety of options on Tap for beer.
All and all a good experience though a bit expensive.
Vegetarian options: Most of the menu can be made in vegetarian form.

Neighbourhood favourite!
Cozy place. They feature Chinese/Asian food but the people running it are Caucasian. Interesting.
Their menu is small but content. More for snacks with drinks than dining.
All of their dishes were good but salty. They use soy sauce based sauces mostly with a twist of vinaigrette. Most of their dishes would be a little mild for Asians but flavourful for non-Asians. I still liked them as an Asian.
Good service, friendly staff. I’d visit again.
