Just went with a friend for some drinks and apps. Drinks were really good, we had the margaritas and tequila . Food was a bit underwhelming but still okay. Atmosphere was nice we were seated outside , day was nice. Would go back for drinks and atmosphere but not for the food.

Food/drink taste was good. But it was hard to enjoy with the most terrible service I've ever experienced.We came as a group of 8. We sat on the patio. We asked the waiters to turn on the heaters next to our tables. They said "ok" like 3-4 times to THREE different waiters. We were shivering cold for very long time.They didn't give us silverware, we had to grab that ourselves! No tissues etc. just absolutely horrendous service. We even had to explain to the waiter who ordered what throughout the night. We did their job for them. We felt totally forgotten.

Went pre-theatre on Mother's Day with my mother and my girlfriend. They both had one of the special mother's day offerings, and I had one of the regular menu items. The service was very good despite the restaurant being very busy, and the food was delicious. No complaints!
Hi, it was a good experience. The food and atmosphere were nice; I felt that the waiters were a bit busy (and it kinda makes sense) that when we needed something, we should have waited a few minutes to see them. But overall I enjoyed my experience here.

Very fun night. Food was good and hot, did take a little while to come but we also had a party of eleven, so that was probably a factor. The atmosphere was relaxed although a bit loud. We got a free dessert for my mother, since it was her birthday. The candle was like a mini firework! A nice touch was an in house magician who was very talented. Our server was very personable and overall a really enjoyable evening.

We had a wonderful experience at Fox on John. We booked a table for before Les Mis and were a little concerned that because it was busy that service might be slow. Drinks and food came within 5-10 minutes. The wine was cold and the food was hot. Extra bonus was their fabulous Wednesday deals on past and wine! Fabulous experience at the Fox.

Waited 10 minutes before being seated by hostess. Waitress took another 5 min to get to us. The restaurant was very busy. Menu was on a QR code but we did not know that. We asked for hard copy menus. Food came quickly and was very good. We chose this restaurant for its proximity to the Princess of Wales theatre.

Very slow service. We waited almost 20 minutes to place our initial order, I’m thinking this could be a one off. It was just our experience.. the staff were friendly and the food was great! I had the bang bang shrimp and the truffle fries

They were busy so I had to wait 40 minutes or so to get a waiter BUT the manager came and apologized and their service was great afterwards and this place is great so 4 stars it is.
