Simple yet nice place for breakfast or brunch. Prices are moderate, and food is good. You might wait for some time if you need a table for 3 or 4. There are only a couple of bigger tables and place is pretty popular.

Service was quick and friendly, food was great with generous portions for reasonable prices. One of the better eggs benedict I’ve had in the city. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Our second visit because we were impressed with our first visit.First Visit:They did forget about us .. we were in the back. Finally gave us our menu but did mess up on the order which they fixed and was generous with sausage and bacon.I had the smoked salmon eggs Benny and my partner had the original breakfast w French toast.Lol they did forget about the cutlery. It was pretty busy there and they were understaffed. It did NOT however take away from the charm of the place. Food presentation was pretty nice, generous portions and quality of my eggs Benny was spot on.NO PICTURES bc I only remembered after attacking my food. Expect the bacon to be on the crispy side of life - thankfully we like it that way.Second Visit:They forgot about us ... we were sitting in the front. It was really busy and still understaffed. They did forget about our beer our water and our cutlery as well lol ?.They where super friendly, apologetic and again it did not take away the charm of the place. We ordered from the daily special menu this time. I had Sweet & Savory - eggs Benny on French toast w a generous heap of pulled pork Hollandaise sauce & deceptively filling ? very yummy. My partner had the Clubhouse Plater which came with fries and coleslaw (i would suggest eating the fries first they are so good when hot and crispy). Again portions were generous. Both dishes were yummy however the clubhouse plater got my vote this time.Thankfully I remembered about pictures before I ate all the food. Although the pictures are missing some bacon slices and half a sandwich ?.* prices are the best on Queen Street West** expect not perfect but friendly service*** still love this place and will come back again to try the banquet burger nextUpdate 20240421: came here for brunch today and service was spot on! Staff was efficient & friendly. ❤️

Best prices you’ll get for a decent brunch anywhere in Toronto. Burgers were good too. However this review is about their sit down service. Called in 5 mins before for their wait time for 5 person. They said no wait and even if wait it will be 5-10 mins, so we went. Guess we were unlucky and went after a rush so we asked to add our name to list and they quoted us 20 minutes. So we waited, and then 25 minutes later we check in and they said that they haven’t forgotten us and will get us a table soon, maybe 10 more minutes. So we kept waiting. However it was about 50 minutes before we finally sat down. I can appreciate a restaurant being busy but when you give expectations to someone about your wait time and we act accordingly to info given, it’s a not a great feeling to be kept waiting and waiting. If you were up front and told me that wait time could be 30-40 minutes, I would’ve left and gone somewhere else. Service afterwards was okay, forgot our coffee and served it after food was served and they did apologize for the wait.

Was looking for a place to have a quick lunch with my mom and we walked past Frankie’s and decided to try it out. We decided to share the classic chicken club combo with fries and it was delicious! The waiter was also kind enough to separate it into two plates for us. It was so fresh and delicious. Definitely want to come back here again!

Pancakes 2/5 - served with table syrup… I think that’s criminal in CanadaEggs benny 3.5/5 - decent taste and portion, nothing to complain about but also nothing that stands outService was 5/5 though!

This is a gem in Toronto. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We went for a family brunch with our baby and grandparents and they accommodated the space for our stroller. The server was so friendly and welcoming especially to my parents who only spoke Spanish. Thank you for a lovely brunch!

Great spot. The servers are incredible and the food is well worth the money. Limited seating so I can see it being tough to get a spot on a busy day. 'public' parking lot located across Queen under the

Breakfast will fill you up here. Portion size was decent, more than what I expected. If I knew, I would have passed on the pancakes. Next time, we will try the Benny's.
