I made a reservation at this restaurant on January 9 for lunch on February 28. I received a confirmation email from Open Table on February 27. However, when my guest arrived at the restaurant, they found it to be permanently closed. No email was sent letting us know; no text was sent, despite having both pieces of information on the reservation. I was disappointed that no one went through their reservation book to notify customers in advance.

Our server was warm and helpful. The food was fresh and arrived within a reasonable time. There was no difficulty in tweaking our selections to meet our particular dietary needs. I would definitely return except I understand they are closing.

Food was just ok. Service was horrible. Restaurant wasn't even busy and it was clear after waiting over an hour for our food that our waitress forgot about us and didn't put our order in.

Came here for a birthday celebration. First time having brunch here. I do prefer their regular menu. The French toast was really good though and fresh juices are must when you're here. Our server was friendly and attentive. Happy hour is amazing here

The food is always delicious and the staff very friendly. The table was quite sticky, to the point that I couldn't slide a plate across - that was off-putting but otherwise a lovely dinner experience.

Fresh Kitchen, nestled on the vibrant East side of Spadina just North of Richmond street, is a delightful haven for food enthusiasts. The restaurant boasts a welcoming ambiance, characterized by its bright and spacious interior, complemented by a sidewalk patio that beckons during the clement months. The staff, exuding cheerful warmth, proves to be accommodating to groups of any size, seamlessly blending friendliness with efficient service.Diners can explore an extensive menu, ranging from Regular and Brunch to Happy Hour selections, all accompanied by a vibrant Juice Bar as showcased in the attached menus. Among my captured favorites are the Powerhouse Bowl, a wholesome blend of avocado, chickpeas, tofu steaks, salad greens, microgreens, toasted mixed nuts, tomato, scallions, and powerhouse sauce atop brown rice. The Dragon Fries, adorned with miso gravy, chilies, scallions, sesame seeds, and chili oil, deliver an enticing fusion of flavors. Equally tantalizing are the Quinoa Rings, crispy delights coated with breadcrumbs and paired with a choice of dip, along with the mouth-filling Faux Cheeseburger and a refreshing Karat or Heartbeet juice.Every visit to Fresh is a filling and satisfying experience, making it highly recommended for those seeking culinary delights and impeccable service.

Great service and the food and pressed juices are incredible! Convenient location with a nice bright open atmosphere.

Excellent meal! The food was delicious, our server and the host were super friendly, and the ambiance is beautiful. We sat in a booth and it was very comfortable. What a great time with friends! Excited to go back! Pricing: $30+tip for a matcha latte, “bacon” breakfast bagel with a just egg, and a side of home fries feels pretty reasonable to me in this economy. Would be nice if there was a tiny option for dessert, like a little truffle or something. Only negative feedback (and I know it's a weird one lol) is that the lattes were a bit too hot, and couldn't be enjoyed for several minutes.

One of my favorite restaurants, this particular location has changed a lot from what I remembered last time I was there (but that was pre-pandemic, maybe went through a massive reno) My favorite dish is also gone from the current menu but our server was kind enough to suggest another dish and they tried to emulate something similar to the one I liked. My friend and I had a good time, we got a nice table booth, and we stayed there till almost closing time :)

Most overrated, overpriced salads I've ever had the displeasure of trying. The dishes were so incredibly tiny - it was ridiculous how much I paid for so little food?! - and the ingredients were all either tasteless/flavourless, or extremely salty/bitter in parts (to the point of the meals being totally inedible). The few bites that I could manage to taste without gagging made me feel sick/nauseous.Worst of all - I found a couple of dirty, black, curly hairs inside (mine is blonde, so I know it wasn't me)... but despite bringing this to the staff's attention, I still wasn't given a refund (even though I took, and provided them with, photos of all the issues/problems). Extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability, as well as the terrible customer service.I feel disgusted, ripped-off, and very sad that, in exchange for far too much of my money, I got worse than nothing in return. Also, the order wasn't packaged properly, so the delivery leaked all over the bag and onto my floor/carpet (staining it). The portion sizes were so small that even if the order had of been decent quality, I still would've felt cheated.... however, the main takeaway here is still the fact that - this establishment served me food that was unsanitary, unclean, and unsafe. And then, their organization actively chose to ignore/not help someone who brought this to their attention, and asked for assistance. Please don't eat here - it's a waste of money, a gamble with your health, and you won't be valued or supported as a patron!

I have been coming to Fresh for years now. Even before I myself started on my plant based life. I find that the service and food quality has dwindled over the years. I have even attempted to work at Fresh multiple times and it was very difficult to ever get in. Yet the service was mediocre at best and has been like that for the last couple years in any of the locations I have gone to. I get that service in general in the hospitality industry has become worst and worst. Having worked in the industry for 18yrs and being passionate about providing memorable and personable experiences I guess I just have a higher standard for that aspect of the outing. The food was alright, not enough dressing on one of the salads (The Caesar salad was super tasty, thought the “crispy chicken” was sad and not as crispy as I thought it would have been) I found The nachos to be poorly dressed, Too many chips with not enough of the goods. The fries were tasty this time around. The soup was delicious and the pita good too, though for soup I prefer a bread that is going to soak up my soup more, and Pita is not the bread for that. I went with the chocolate cake as my bday dessert and others got the cheesecake. I know that these are all “Sweets of the earth” and I used to die for that chocolate cake. The slice was dry and crumbly (used to be moist and fresh) and there was a significant bit of the cake not there due to cutting and the dryness of the cake. I imagine it crumbled off when they were slicing. big portion for both cakes which I like and also think it would be more ideal to have a more standard size and not charge so much for the slices so that people can have variety. I ordered the fireball and I have no idea why it was served in a Latte mug, it was filled to the rim and spilled all over the saucer. I remember the fireball being different as well. Not as enjoyable as I remember it once was. I appreciate having plant based restaurants such as Fresh and will continue to go.

Food was tasty. Service was good, but it was booked online as a birthday outing and this was not asked about or brought up by the hostesses at any point. This is something that is completed when making the booking and if it will be ignored, why bother ask?

The best thing about this restaurant was the renovations done as this was a beautiful place to dine at. The whole vibe of greenery is just amazing. They made the atmosphere perfect for the date night. The food was just not over the top, like it was okay there was nothing outstanding about, we ordered the protein powerhouse which came without a dressing not even on the side. Had to order that separately the thing which I didn't like as a salad should always be complimented with a dressing. The reason I am giving it a 3 star on food. The fries were great but again because there is no use of flavours as a concept here which I don't mind but while eating you feel like you can make it at home.

I'm never disappointed when I go to any of the Fresh locations. I've long frequented it and, as a vegan, I appreciate the diverse menu with lots of wonderful choices. I often take my non-vegan friends there and they are always pleasantly surprised that they don't feel deprived. I like lots of things on the menu, but I'd like to give a special shout-out to the quinoa onion rings, the dragon broccoli, and the power shake.
