Best Thai in town. It has been 10 years and each meal is still a treat. Reasonable portions, usually have some left to take home, hot and fresh. Owner is kind and fun to chat with. Eat in or take out, both options are great.

On more than one occasion I have been spoken to by the owner in a surly, resentful, impatient, and rude manner. It does not matter how quiet and polite you are, if you try to ask a question or make a special request, prepare to be barked at. Whether she is in the mood to honour your request or not, you’ll get a side dish of anger. You can tell she’s trying her best, and at some level must mean well. I can only imagine how difficult it is to run a restaurant in this location. But I do not expect to be treated like an inconvenience, nor should any customer. She became much friendlier when she saw me scrolling through reviews at my table. It is very unfortunate, as I have been coming to this restaurant probably for close to 15 years, but today was my last time.

My hubby and I have coming here for almost 15 years, specifically for their soup (my favorite is the seafood soup)!! The soup is a bit pricey but because I do takeout every time, I use the leftover broth and make it stretch for at least one more day.…so it works out. Also the owner is always super sweet to me and we never had a bad experience yet.🙏🏽

We’ve been coming to Fresh Roll Thai and Vietnamese Fusion Cuisine for years, most often grabbing fresh rolls to go, but sometimes staying to eat in. It’s a small, family-owned spot that’s clearly a labour of love. The space is eclectic, filled with plants and flowers, a bit dated in the best way, and full of quiet charm. You can really feel that this place is the owner’s pride and joy. The food is consistently fresh, flavourful, and made with care. A true neighbourhood gem that’s been around for a long time for a reason.

Not good at all. Over priced and rude. Empty resturant during peak time. Small portion. Needs to be closed down asap

You need a thick skin and positive attitude to enjoy your time here. The owner lady will treat you like your family, specifically, a distant cousin who has come over unannounced.

Great food! I had the crispy spinach and I’ve never had such good spinach in my life! My partner had the beef chow mein which I tried as well and it was delicious!

I used to come regularly for their $20 wonton noodle soup. Very expensive but the broth was packed full of flavour. Last week I went on a cold rainy day for lunch but the quality has tanked. They obviously dilute their broth now, just tastes like water and a bit of bouillon. I also asked for ice water and got lukewarm water, no ice, and a lemon slice that was just rind. It’s a small thing and I’d normally just ask nicely for the ice water again but the lady owner is very hostile so decided against it.

No matter what you ask for, she never responds yes or no. Just turns and walks away then brings you (chopsticks, soy, etc). The only response I got was when I asked for a to-go container she started muttering angrily in Vietnamese? It actually made me laugh out loud that this lady is so angry to have a customer in her empty restaurant at lunchtime. I will never return and the wonton soup really needs to go back to the old recipe or price reduced. 2 stars because there were lots of wontons and I’m honestly feeling bad for her in general.

This place is a scam for 1 person to eat it is $50+ one dish and one appetizer. I was going to be sharing this meal with someone and the lady told me no not enough for 2 people to share. Which is a lie due to their portions being more than enough.

Delicious, authentic and fresh Pho. The broth was rich and flavourful. The fresh rolls were also very fresh and tasty. Amazing and warm customer service. For dessert, we got the fried banana with ice-cream which was so insanely good, we wanted to order another one. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Everything is Extremely overpriced and for such SMALL amounts. The lemon in my drink was the size of a sliver.
