This is the second time I ordered birthday cakes from Frosted Flavors. In total I have had 6 Frosted cakes. The cakes are just great. Plus, I asked for a change in colour for the icing for one of the cakes I ordered and it was completed beautifully. I will sum up the cakes in one line - beautiful, fresh, delicious.

I recently ordered a vanilla bean birthday cake. The ordering process was straightforward, and based on other reviews, I had high expectations.
While the design of the cake was well-executed, the taste was disappointing. The icing lacked flavor, had an odd waxy texture, and even had a slight salty taste. There was no sweetness to it, I’ve never had a vanilla bean cake that tasted so bland.
I reached out to the owner to see if anything could be done, and I was offered 20% off a future purchase. Unfortunately, given my experience, I wouldn’t order again or recommend them.

On Sept 13 I reached out to inquire about a cake for my daughter’s birthday party for September 29. I attempted to reach out via WhatsApp per their website. I didn’t hear back so I called the store directly on Sept 16. The owner said they were busy on the weekend so missed my message. Three days later on the 19th she messaged me to confirm design and flavour. Fastforward to the day before the party I message her at noon to confirm pick up time for the next day. No response. So I called day of the party at 11am - I had told her on Sept 16 the party was 1pm Sept 29. At 11am day of the party I am told they “missed” our order and the cake would be made immediately. My husband ended up arriving late to our daughter’s party because the cake was not ready at 1230pm as promised. The cake was dry and had buttercream so thick the children had a hard time eating it. Most of the cake went directly into the trash. Attached are photos of our inspo hello kitty cake vs the awful knock off looking hello kitty cake we received. It’s embarrassing how poorly it was made. Even with a $35 discount, we still paid $100 for an ugly inedible rushed cake. Don’t waste your time and money on a business that doesn’t prioritize customers. If you want to ensure your child gets a cake for their birthday, go elsewhere. I was hopeful that his would be our new go to cake place, what a letdown.

Had the best experience at this cozy bakery in the Beaches! Maitree and her team created magic✨ with this cake for a friend, from a reference photo if a minimalist heart antique cake. They were efficient, kind and responsive to phone calls and emails. Payment was made online and pickup was a breeze. Would highly recommend this lovely bakery ? ?
For reference this was a 2 layer, 6" heart cake with a fresh fruit filling.
