We ordered fish soup and beef stew combo. The fish soup was amazing, a bit spicy, large portion, lots of fish, and different types of mushrooms. The beef in the stew was very chewy, but the rest of the dish was amazing.
Pros: the food was delicious, and large portion.There are vegetarian options but they are just a meat dish with the meat taken out. Not on the actual menu.
My cons: (there was another review showing a worm maggot in her food and my thoughts about their kitchen might be correct) The toilets downstairs were alright but there were dead bugs on the ground like cockroaches and those things with the long legs. Okay so over my few years as a U of at undergrad this restaurant has been my most frequented (like a hundred times). The pricing is very reasonable, the food is delicious (I recommend 三杯鸡 rice because it’s rich in protein), the staff are friendly too. Honestly gonna miss this go-to place for dinner after I graduate ?
