As a Japanese person who absolutely loves sushi, I honestly didn’t expect to find such high-quality sushi in Toronto — but this place completely blew me away.
Tucked away in Midtown, it truly feels like a hidden gem. Every detail is carefully considered — not just the fish, but also the rice, the seasoning, even the soy sauce — everything comes together in perfect harmony.
The Bluefin Toro Set is exceptional and an incredible value for the quality. It’s only available for a limited time, so if you’re a fan of toro, this is an absolute must-try. I can’t stress this enough — it’s really that good. I would give more stars if I could!

The quality of the fish is outstanding, from the regular rolls to the sushi platters. The service is great as well. Definitely would order lunch regularly if I lived close by. I'm interested in reserving omakaze ahead of time in the future to explore more fish types in addition to the chef's skills.

I loved eating at Fukui sushi! One of the best sushi spots in the city. The steak in the bento box was cooked perfectly and the bayview roll was incredible! Will definitely be back.
