Nice small coffee shop, pretty good vibes with nice music. Perfect for reading a book or for a date.
I didn't try the sandwiches, they looked good, but I was not impressed by the croissants, too flaky.
Americano was pretty good, however the specialty latte was terrible, way too much syrup to my liking.

Wanted to update my review to include how nice the owner is. I absolutely love the creativity behind all the drink selections. The Dark Nut Latte, Salty Date Lattes, and Honey Spring Blossom Matcha are my favourite!! I appreciate how well crafted the drinks are by the owner and staff. Even the regular lattes are fantastic!

The café is wonderful! I was on vacation with my family in Toronto, and I went there specifically to try the pistachio cream coffee. My mom and I absolutely loved it! I don’t remember the name of the man who was working there, but he was incredibly kind and polite. I really hope that if I ever come back to Toronto, I can visit this café again. ✨🙏🏻

We came in and were greeted with a very nice and cozy atmosphere, warm smiles and smell of fresh coffee, so from the start the expectations were set high and I’m happy they did not disappoint.
We had a quick chat with the barista and she kindly explained what makes their special coffee different and I knew I had to try it, if you like pumpkin and feeling relaxed with subtle notes of mushroom that should be your pick. We also tried the the dark nut latte and that was also very nice. For a better reference I have included a one pager of the effect of the super add one they put in the drinks as well, come try it and see if it works for you!
The only average item on the menu was the almond croissant we tried and that was due it being a bit dry and old so my advice is not to get that but the coffee more than made up for the pastry.

The best Salted Caramel Pistachio Espressino I’ve ever had — it instantly made me feel like I was back home in Milano, Italy. Absolute perfection in a cup! If you haven’t been here yet, it’s about time you do. The owner is incredibly friendly and you can truly feel the passion and pride he puts into every drink. Can’t wait to come back and try more — hands down the best café in Toronto. 🇮🇹☕️

Best espresso in the city—smooth, balanced, and not bitter. Living in Italy taught me what real espresso is supposed to taste like, and Fungo Café nails it. Pair it with their fresh focaccia and you’ll understand why this place stands above the rest. Five stars.

Not to be a self proclaimed coffee expert butttttttt I do frequent a lot of coffee shops in the west and Fungo is for sure one of the best. The owner (who is super friendly) is clearly extremely knowledgeable on coffee and the espresso is amazing. They also make speciality lattes and matcha which are equally as good.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. I live in Liberty Village and have walked past Fungo Café on King Street West for over a year without realizing it was here – what a hidden gem in Toronto! I’ve been coming for a week now and every time I try something new, Fungo never disappoints me.

The Salted Date Latte, Dark Nut Latte, and Nutella Cappuccino are absolutely incredible – easily the best coffee drinks I’ve had in the area. You can tell they use only the best ingredients, and the presentation is always spot on. 😍

The vibe here is warm and welcoming, the owner is super friendly, and the space itself feels like a true Italian-inspired coffee shop. It’s quickly become my favorite spot in Toronto for specialty lattes and cappuccinos.

If you’re in Downtown Toronto, King West, or Liberty Village and love coffee, this is the café you need to check out. Easily one of the best cafés in Toronto – once you find it, you’ll keep coming back just like me!

Today i had the best experience at fungo cafe … i walked in to the cafe at a busy time, didnt know how long the wait would be, i was acknowledged fast and i was told it we be around 5 mins, i took my time to look at the menu and decided to get myself a salted date latte and my girlfriend got a mindful matcha. Well let me tell you it was worth the wait, it was best i ever had and my girls matcha was healthy and not sweet at all and tasted amazing the staff were amazing as well we will be back 😊

stumbled upon Fungo Cafe by chance one morning, and it quickly became my go-to spot before work. The flat white I ordered was 6 ounces the correct size like in Australia exceptional smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, No sugar needed; the natural sweetness of the milk made it just right. I also tried one of their protein smoothies and was blown away by the quality. You can really taste the difference only the best ingredients, and still affordable. Fungo Cafe is a hidden gem. I’m excited to come back 🙏
