Walk in august 18th 8:20pm. Litterally got order wrong on takeout order. Somehow heard... i think? pesto chicken? from tomato sauce with Sausage and red pepper.
Noodles have good flavor at least but chicken is tough plain and chewy. Portion size isn't great. 2-3oz of chicken maybe. A small handful of pasta. 0 idea how that took almost 25 minutes unless they boiled the pasta fresh. Feels like every corner is cut.
Finally always great when they drop a cold can of pop right pressed to the hot dish especially in a tiny paper bag. Yet their machine starts at 18%tip. Huh. No thank you.

Queen east near Corktown is lucky to have this cute little locally owned restaurant. Dimmed candle lit lighting in the evening with Italian music playing set the mood nicely.
The pizzas were just the right size for 1 person. The crust could use a little pizazz (oil, seasoning, etc.) but we were still happy with them and the server did offer freshly ground pepper and/or oil with hot peppers (I think!) to add, so we'll try that next time.
I had a really nice glass of red cabernet too.
We'll definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this cute restaurant. The air conditioning was really nice in this Toronto summer heat.
We ordered the insalata caprese, the gnocchi margherita, and the chicken parmigiana. It took a while for the food to come out—at this rate, we were expecting the appetiser and mains to come out all out once. To our surprise, the mains came out first. They were nice and hot. However, in terms of taste, the chicken parm was alright. We wished there was more spaghetti, and the chicken was nothing special—it was thin and had a really weird texture. The gnocchi was good, but nothing spectacular. The caprese came out halfway through finishing out mains. By far, the caprese was our favourite—very fresh, but in my opinion, not worth the price.
Overall, it's a nice spot, and they have a cute patio. But the food wasn't our cup of tea.

It’s a cozy old style Italian place I would go there again if I am in the downtown core area

A friend took me there for my birthday. The food was delicious. We had an appetizer, our mains, alcohol, then the owner brought out a complimentary plate of Tiramisu to celebrate my birthday! He even added a lit candle and sang Happy Birthday along with my friend!
My friend said the bill was very reasonable.

Cozy Italian restaurant on queen street, reminded me of Europe. Great size portions and the dishes had a rich taste. Glad I went for the cheesecake. When I heard it was homemade I had to try it. That was definitely a winner! Highly recommend, nice spot for couples on a date night.
