I was visiting Toronto from out of town and was downtown , looking to find a place where I can have a quick bite to eat with a pub like atmosphere, after a few attempts I walked into Gabby‘s , It was exactly what I was looking for and even better. I almost walked out but Ty (bartender ) greeted me and offered the specials , so I sat at the bar top and decided to try the special , Ty was my bartender and he was pleasant, personable and attentive, I felt like right at home! Great service great location, great atmosphere!

Gabbys Danforth.... Rude staff and an even more rude owner... don't bother complaining about anything because you're just going to get cussed at... absolutely appalling behavior... the usual crowd are loud obnoxious and seriously over their limits. I've witnessed tables and chairs falling all over the place on many occasions because people are way too intoxicated to think. The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

0 stars if possible this place told us to get here at 6 for the jays World Series seating we were first in line and the bounce l lets in All his friends late and seating tables who have been there an hour. Totally unfair to people who made a mission to get here early.

I was a regular there for five years and would frequently go to watch sports with other people. A couple weeks ago, I ordered a meal and watched a baseball game. After a while, an extremely rude waiter (I believe his name is David but he’s from the UK so that should narrow his description down if he gave me a fake name) started yelling at me to leave. He was so aggressive that I actually thought I was going to get in a fight. He said it was because I stayed too long without ordering a second thing. Had he just let me know that was the rule, I would have just ordered something else. Because of him, I’ve decided never to go back unless I find out he’s fired. His aggressive behaviour is beyond inappropriate and he should not be working in customer service.
I went to this Gabby’s with many other people on a regular basis for five years and until then, I never had an issue. Since then, I’ve gone to other places to watch sports and I asked if I could stay to finish watching the game after eating my meal and not one of them had an issue with it.

Stoped by this bar for a bite to eat for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food is your typical bar fare, but it’s executed well and tastes good. There’s an Octoberfest menu going on and the bartender Tai suggested the sandwich which was great. The bar vibe is pretty good with lots of memorabilia on the walls to set the mood. The bartender was attentive and was chatting up myself and others so it felt very “Cheers”. The draft selection is standard (Guiness, Canadian, Coors, etc), but there are a couple unique beers for the fancy drinkers.
