Absolutely love this place! Gabby’s is the perfect mix of laid-back vibes and great energy. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is classic pub grub done right—big portions, packed with flavour, and always fresh. Their wings and burgers are top-tier, and the draft beer selection is legit.
It’s also an awesome spot to catch a game—great screens, sound, and atmosphere. I came here with a few friends during happy hour and we were seriously impressed by the cocktail quality too.
Whether you’re just grabbing drinks, catching up with friends, or watching sports, Gabby’s is always a win. Highly recommend.

The club sandwich we ordered was tasty but the service was awful , no fork, no plates ,no napkins .. the server asked us to pay upfront because her shift was ending and 20 min later she was still there taking orders .. I payed with cash and she said if we want change she doesn't have any to give us! unacceptable.. will not be coming back !

Gabbys on Egington East use to be a great place to go. Fun karaoke and very nice staff. The bar has changed hands and now I would not give them the time of day, the difference is huge.

Alright. As a service industry professional, my experience here really frustrated me. To start, my party of 3 came in on a slow Wednesday night. We were one of three tables, with one person sitting at the bar. When we came in, both the server and the cook were leaning on the bar on their phones. Fine, it's a slow night, maybe all side duties were done. But after waiting a moment I had to greet them myself, and ask if we were okay to seat ourselves. No one said anything, both just looked up, so we grabbed a booth. Our server came over shortly after and gave us menus. We placed our order and my drink was dropped off. After some time, the drink was finished, and I ended up needing to go to the bar to order it myself because our table was not checked on. The second drink was dropped off in a reasonable time frame, but the food took a long time (30+ minutes) despite us being one of two tables with food. One item was, I assume, rung in as an appetizer, but it was meant to come with the rest as it was for one person, who clarified that upon ordering. The first dish also sat in the window and was cold upon arrival. The server was distracted by her phone and what I assume was a friend at the bar. After 40 minutes or so, the rest of the food came. The food was tasty and the portions were generous, but again, there were no checks, and we had to ask again for a replenishment of condiments. Waters were not refilled once finished. Our experience was soured by the lack of attentiveness from our server and we left disappointed and frustrated.
Overall, the food was good, but the service was incredibly lacking and we don't plan to come back, despite living locally and having visited before. We may order takeout in the future but don't look forward to another dine-in after our experience.
