We walked into Galata Café and instantly felt so welcomed — the hospitality was truly heartwarming! The owner and his wife greeted us with warm smiles and made our family of 8 feel right at home. They were incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout our meal, making sure everyone was comfortable and happy.
The Turkish breakfast was absolutely amazing — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The unlimited Turkish tea kept flowing, and the warm, freshly baked bread just kept coming! Every bite reminded us of authentic Turkish home cooking.
It’s rare to find a place that combines such genuine hospitality with incredible food, but Galata Café truly does both. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and delicious dining experience! 🌿🇹🇷☕🥖

I’ve came here a handful of times to stop in and grab a quick coffee. Coffee is always fresh and hot plus strong too which I do like. Great owners who are very friendly and helpful always of what cafe they recommend to get.
Look forward for the next visit when I’m around the west end.

I have had meetings with clients here for casual meetings, and it’s been perfect every time. The food and desserts are delicious, fresh, and authentically Turkish. What impressed me the most was the coffee cooked on sand, Turkish style — a truly unique experience. ☕ The service is always friendly and polite, and the space is comfortable. Highly recommend!

The food here is all about flavor—everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. No frills, no fuss, just great cooking. The owners are so kind and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back.

Came here for brunch (and dessert), and everything was spot on. The menemen was rich and flavourful, perfect for scooping up with their fresh bread and pastries. The staff were welcoming and made the place feel comfortable and easy to linger in. Def a genuine Turkish café experience worth coming back for.

Really friendly staff that made me feel welcome as soon as I came in. However, I feel the dishes are way too expensive for what you get. In the image, you get 2 slices of cheese, a loaf of bread, 15 olives, slices of tomatoes and cucumbers, handful of fruits, a portion of some spinach pastry, and a turkish coffee for 24$ plus tax plus tip. Buddy. Come on, thats a breakfast for a small turkish child. When the plate came out, I thought it was the side salad for the gozleme. If you wanna rob people, I guess this is the most legit way.
*To the owner,
Okay, let’s highlight the fact that there are 4 x 2 tablespoons of condiments with the meal. Also, in your other replies, you keep on mentioning how there is unlimited tea or bread..but you don’t advertise that in the store anywhere.
Multiple people not finishing a half assed plate is a joke. 5 slices of cucumber, 15 olives, 2 slices of cheese, and a quarter? Half? Of a tomato.
You dont seem to handle criticism well based on your other replies to reviews. I did enjoy the meal, and my complaint was regarding value and worth, not low cost. I gladly pay premiums on places that are worth it. Hope you learn to accept some criticism in your 10+ years of business.

I will say service was great the lady who worked there was so nice and wonderful. The food was flavourful and fresh - the bread came out warm and the gozleme was super tasty - i think 24$ for that and a side salad was reasonable but could be a few dollars cheaper. The turkish breakfast is pretty expensive. I don't think it was worth 24$. Id say if they lowered the cost a dollar or 2 add an extra slices of the cheeses and more of the veggies it would help. I was a little shocked when it came out. This cost 54$ not including tip (minus a ramekin of side salad- which came out later so I didn't take a picture of). I'd say if you're a big eater - hungry or maybe a foodie I'd probs say either this is a heads up or avoid.
