I cam here on Xmas eve. In general, the food was great. We've ordered mussles and mista salad as appetizers. As for the main, we've ordered lasagna, linguine pescatore, and linguine gamberoni. And, Tiramisu for dessert. I was surprised that they have a good portion for all meals. So, in terms of value I think it is very fair especially the linguine pescatore.. We've enjoyed all dishes, and the best part is all dishes were hot. But, I don't recommend linguine gamberoni and mussles, because linguine was bland and as for the mussles the sauce hasn't sinked into the mussles. There is also free bread which was wonderful. Like other said, the environment is abit dated, but would definitely come again for the food.
We have been to Gamberoni’s a number of times since trying it this summer. The food is always delicious and the service is always excellent, with a warm and welcoming, old-school Italian restaurant vibe.
Last night, we ordered delivery, and there was an issue with the delivery app, causing a significant delay. The owner of the restaurant kindly went out of his way to not only send our dinner, but to turn the experience around. Thank you for your help, and the amazing desserts! We’ll definitely see you soon!
(I never write reviews, so this proves how grateful I am for the unexpected support!)

Nice and quiet atmosphere with a good selection of Italian dishes. Unfortunately the pancetta in my penne alla vodka was undercooked.
Vegetarian options: Eggplant parmigiana
Parking: Lots of green p spots on Yonge street in-front of the restaurant

I’ve always passed by this place and finally decided to try. I came on a Saturday night for an early dinner which they were able to accommodate. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed by their employees and cozy decor. The server was attentive as well as the owner. It’s a family run restaurant since 1986 and they are doing a fantastic job!
We started off with an order of bruschetta. I ordered the linguini Gamberoni, which had plump shrimp and scallops in it. My husband had the penne a la vodka. They also give you some bread and butter for the table. They also had a small dessert menu which I didn’t try this time because of all the food.
The food was absolutely delicious and I can’t believe I passed by this restaurant all these years and never tried it. It’s definitely a neighborhood staple and hidden gem. The place was full by the time we headed out. The menu is extensive and has so many choices. We’ll definitely be back!
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options for the appetizers, salads, mains, and dessert.
Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free pasta for an extra charge.

My wife and I had a nice dinner at Gamberoni in Midtown Toronto.
We tried the Pollo Limone and Lasagne, and both dishes were quite tasty. The restaurant has a cozy, albeit a bit dated, atmosphere.
We visited on a Saturday night, and it was relatively quiet with just one family dining and many empty tables.
Despite that, we enjoyed our meal and the calm vibe.
Overall, it was a good experience!

Thev menu asks for you to tell them of your food allergies. Then they proceed to bring you tasteless food. No sauce as if you should be punished for having allergies. I ordered provimi veal. It wasn't provimi at all. Then I asked for my pasta that was supposed to come with the veal. I was served a bowl of plain pasta. Not even oil and garlic on it! When I asked for tomato sauce they looked at me like I was crazy. And the prices were not cheap. Disgusting. I'll never go back. And you shouldn't either.

Worst eggplant parm ever!!! Cappers salad had 3 slices of tomato and a few miniature pieces of mozzarella.
Came on a Sunday evening so they were not busy. Service attentive and friendly. Standard Italian restaurant fare which was reasonably well executed. Pasta was al dente with correct amount of sauce. Garlic bread homemade and not too salty. Tiramisu creamy and not too sweet. Portions adequate for most appetites. Decor dated with chequered table cloths and posters of Italy, opera playing quietly in the background. All in all, a traditional North American Italian family restaurant not trying to be a trendy hipster bar/trattoria. Made me nostalgic for my first childhood restaurant meals. I would return if in the neighborhood.
