Gautama (Indian Buffet Restaurant)

I went here last night, everything was really good! It should be rated higher. We had naan, samosas & pakoras, the tandoori platter, chicken vindaloo, mutter paneer, and aloo gobi. Service and ambience were very good! I will come back.

Accidentally discovered this restaurant while out for a Galentine’s night with some friends. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

The best Indian food I've had in the city! Other places are overpriced and split everything into separate orders, really hurts the experience unlike this place.
It's the only one that I frequently return to year after year.

Unfortunately they aren't doing a buffet right now? I went in with some excited friends only to discover it was limited to some menu items and takeout.

Please reopen the buffet so we can return with our friends and family! We're craving Gautama!

My visit to this restaurant was quite troubling. My boyfriend and I arrived together, but he stepped away briefly to use the restroom, leaving me alone at our table. During his absence, a young man working as an order-taker, who appeared to be of brown skin, made me feel very uncomfortable with his inappropriate and unsettling stares. His behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful.

Feeling increasingly uneasy, I decided to leave as soon as my boyfriend returned. I chose not to mention the incident to him at the time to avoid escalating the situation, but I feel it's crucial to address this with the restaurant’s management. It’s concerning that such behavior was allowed, and it raises serious questions about the safety of female patrons at this establishment.

The behavior of the order-taker felt like harassment and happened openly in front of other customers. Despite my clear discomfort, he approached me twice while I was seated by the window, making unwelcome advances.

I advise other women to be cautious if they plan to visit this restaurant. I do not feel comfortable returning until I am confident that management has taken serious steps to address this issue.

This situation needs immediate attention from the owner.
