We got a chance to visit Geste on a recent trip and were blown away. It's a quaint cafe that feels like a quick escape from the chaos of the city. We tried coffee, a grilled cheese sandwich, and their signature Basque cheesecake. Honestly, we loved everything we tried and will be back for sure!

Some of the best desserts in the city imo. Geste doesn’t do shoddy. Everything is made with care, and they’re always dropping new creations that somehow top the last. The chocolate chip cookie and caramel brûlée pastry are both must-tries for me [almon croissant is a classic too]. Their savoury options are just as strong with their pizza and shakshouka being particularly memorable. Service is always friendly, and the space has a relaxed, elevated vibe.

I've been here a few times. The food is very good, though overpriced, and the atmosphere is nice. However, this last time the waitress completely forgot my order and I didn't even get an apology, never mind a coffee on the house. I doubt I'll go back.

Came here for a morning walk on the weekend and grabbed a pain au chocolat & coffee to go. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the comforting aroma of fresh pastries and butter. The pain au chocolat was light and airy, with nice layers that you could see in every bite. The coffee was fine, but the pastry definitely stole the show. The peaceful vibe of the cafe made it a perfect spot to start the day ☀️

Recently visited Geste, had the butter, chocolate, pistachio, and ham & cheese croissants and ascended to croissant heaven. The pistachio in particular was my favorite! My partner and I couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more with the tasty food, cool ambiance, and friendly customer service. Geste will definitely be a must stop on all future Toronto trips!

Perfect place for authentic french cuisine lovers. Comfy and cozy ambience. Great service. We got the opportunity to taste freshly baked butter croissant and it was out of this world. Flaky and crumbly on the outside and soft inside. Loved the French omelette and egg cronut. Pistachio chocolate croissantis are amazing. Highly recommended

A Croissant Lover’s Paradise in Toronto! 🇫🇷
If you’re looking for a cozy spot to indulge in some truly dreamy pastries, GESTE Croissant and Bistro is a must-visit. We stopped by recently and tried three different treats — and each one was a delicious experience!
✨ Kouign Amann – This one was crisp, caramelized, and rich with layers of buttery, sugary goodness. The kind of bite that crackles when you sink your teeth in.
🧀 Cheese Croissant – Buttery and flaky on the outside, with a creamy soft cheese filling that adds a savory richness to every bite.
🍳 Egg Cronut – Our favorite! This was a savory delight with a creamy egg filling that felt like a breakfast sandwich wrapped in a croissant-donut hybrid. Absolutely heavenly!
Each pastry was rich, soft, and made with so much care — the quality shines through in every bite. 💛
If you’re in Toronto, GESTE Croissant and Bistro is worth a visit for the cozy atmosphere and their beautiful, delicious pastries. Perfect for a breakfast treat, an afternoon snack, or just a moment of indulgence. 👏🥐

Stopped by this cafe on a sunny afternoon. Have some great croissants but the latte was a little on the too milky side.

Walked in here initially as the brunch place i wanted to go to was closed.
Was very pleasantly surprised at how good all the food was. The ham sandwhich was amazing. My wife ordered the veggie egg dish which wasnt actually vegetarian and the head chef/owner came himself to clarify it wasnt vegetarian and whipped up something special that was equally as good as my sandwhich. Moka was the best ive ever had. This has now become my go to brunch place. Highly recommend
