Croissant pastry was excellent and the sandwiches were solid.

Have loved these croissants since they originally opened on Dundas! One of my favourite croissants in the city 🤗

Been there a couple times, love this place always. But when I was there last weekend, the croissant got so small. Price doesn’t change but the size of the pastry shrink.
Quite disappointed.

My wife and I came for a light brunch. The bartender took our order since the online service was not working properly. A little later, our friends arrived and placed their order through the website, which had started working by then.
Then, everything turned into chaos. A chef approached us and informed us that the chicken dish was unavailable, even though we had already paid for it. Later, the head chef came over and took our order again, but at a different price, as our original order was completely canceled.
As a result, my pregnant wife had to wait over 20–30 minutes for her meal. This experience left a very bad impression.

Restaurant staff very arrogant and rude I ordered a pizza and croissant with ham and found hair in it. One of the workers also reeked of weed very unprofessional…

Eggs Benny was very tasty, however they need to improve the service and learn how to make and serve an Irish coffee.

It was excellent!! The croissants exceeded my expectations - so fresh, warm out of the oven (they restocked multiple times in the 2 hours I was there). The pistachio chocolate croissant is one of the best I’ve had in the city….even better than I expected! It had a creamy pistachio butter (instead of frangipane) and generous dark chocolate. Strong pistachio flavor not drowned out by sugar. The kouign amann was also one of the best I’ve had! A thick gooey layer of caramelized sugar and the classic buttery crunch. And I am still thinking about their toasted marshmallow oat milk latte! I got two and definitely would travel back again just for that! The latte I got somewhere else the next day just paled in comparison. The only thing I didn’t love was the pesto mac n cheese. It was ok but a little bland and did not compare to everything else.
They are definitely a great brunch spot though - they have a pretty large hot food menu and it was easy to walk in on a Saturday at noon. The service could’ve been more attentive - we had to go out of our way to flag down the waiter multiple times, sometimes even getting up to call them. They do have a self serve online ordering system so maybe that’s the expectation, but I much prefer to order in person so I can get recommendations and ask questions. It was also fairly priced for Toronto. For hot foods, if you are looking for egg-free vegetarian the options are mac n cheese or grilled cheese… but the grilled cheese looked amazing so I’d try that next time.
My biggest critique is they have no paper menus, it’s QR codes only yet also no wifi… this seems really off considering many people, especially tourists, don’t have data plans. It was an issue for my dining partner and disappointing for any establishment to make it impossible to order without a self-funded data plan and charged phone. I recommend they store a few pepper menus, but decided not to knock a star for this since the pastries were so good.
Overall, highly recommend for a pastry/coffee and would definitely be back!
Vegetarian options: They have enough, especially with the pasties

I have visited this place a couple of times mostly for coffee and pastry&dessert. I tried different kind of pastries&desserts and they were all fresh and delicious, since they are fresh I wouldn't recommend to have them heated. Their coffee is also very tasty. Staff is kind and service is good. The inside atmosphere is nice and peaceful.

I will never go back to this place again, I was met with an Indian cashier, who sold me a cheesecake that had been sitting there at room temperature. I only wanted one slice to take out, as soon as I selected the no tip option, when paying, his attitude completely changed and refused to give me cutlery to go. What a horrible human being. The place is overpriced, and their cakes sit out in the open all day long.

Disappointed! I remember that this place was popular some time ago, and decided to try their almond croissant. I came right after opening, and there was barely any pastry. As well they heated up my croissants. Don’t understand it. Coffee wasn’t great as well.
I wouldn’t come back!
