The fish sandwich is delicious. This place has the best food in the new food court. The fries are good too with very nice staff. Must try!

I had to try this place out as I love fish and chips. At $17, I got a little fillet of fried fish and chips. I still can't get over how teeeeny the fish was. It literally is the smallest fried fish I ate when it comes to haddock and chips. Also you have to pay extra for coleslaw. Usually that's included whenever I have a fish and chips meal. This meal was seriously underwhelming and totally nowhere worth what I paid

My rating will be nearly reached 4 stars if I orders Crispy fish-wish only. I added to my order shrimp and chips which was not good, looks they used old oil for frying , dark brownish color and so salty.

I had the fish sandwich, and found the portion size to be very small for $14+tax+tip. The flavour is good, but the bun wasn't anything special and I wasn't happy to pay that much for a snack-sized sandwich

Even though we placed our order nine minutes before closing, Lilian was cordial and attentive in receiving our orders.The cuisine was tasty and satisfying. We are having dinner at Gil's for the first time.

Sooo yummy! Lots of available and clean seats in this food court. Its inside Eaton Centre’s new food hall and its very modern and has lots of new and interesting restaurants. I had the shrimp and chips and it was delicious. Also tried the potato salad and it was very flavourful and tasty.

Located inside the new Queen's Cross food hall. I may have set my expectations too high being in a new area that looked higher end than the downstairs food court. The fish and chips were good but I was hoping for a bit bigger fish for $19. I really like how simple the menu is. I'm willing to give other items a try next time.

I had the Classic Haddock & Chips meal. I told the server to surprise me with any of the side salads. She gave me the potato salad and it was breath-taking. There's a subtle South Asian spice (my poorly educated guess) in it that takes it to another level.
The haddock is the best I've ever had, even from more formal dining establishments. Perfect crisp coating, warm... tender... inside. Mmmmm, I'm drooling again.
The fries, oops, sorry - the chips were also tasty. I usually don't finish the serving of chips with fish because the servings are usually large and I save my belly for the fish first and foremost.
Tartar sauce is great too. I just stuck my tongue in the left over cup to remind me of the taste. There's that same spice(s), I believe are also in the potato salad. Right or wrong, it's still a winner in my books.
I'm not getting paid for this review, no one asked me to write one. I would definitely go back here and force anyone I'm with to eat their food as well, vegan or not I don't care.
