Usually all the Gingers are all good, many locations. Only thing is prices went up a bit too much. I recommend #44 and chicken coconut mushroom soup.

My husband and I went to dine at Ginger on Wellesley yesterday around 12:30 PM. My husband really love the place and he’s been bringing me there for months now. I ordered the pork chop with rice ($16) and honestly, I was really disappointed.
While eating, I found this weird-looking strand in my food that looked a lot like a cockroach leg. When I showed it to the young lady at the counter, she quickly said (in a slightly upset tone) that it was just lemongrass. I wasn’t convinced — it really didn’t look like one. Plus the skin of the cockroach is there.
What made it worse was that she then spoke to her colleagues in Vietnamese, thinking I wouldn’t understand, and it really felt like she was mocking me. I just stayed quiet and calm, even though it was uncomfortable.
When they brought back my food, it was clearly the same pork chop, just with the sides cut off to make it look “different.” That part really disappointed me. I didn’t ask for a refund, but I think people should know what happened.
Maybe it was a misunderstanding, but I’ll let others judge for themselves what that “strand” really was.

Really tasty, especially the #44. Good portions for the price.

Shard of plastic in my salad roll. Was a nice run but absolutely NEVER eating here again. Could have cut my throat or been swallowed.
I don’t know when they started putting beans sprout in the salad rolls but now it’s freaking ruined my experience I hate bean sprouts all you can taste is the freaking beans sprouts can’t taste any of the avocado or the crab or the beef or the shrimp all you taste is beans sprout so whoever put bean sprout in these needs to get fired. Thank you

Self served style that has decent quality of food and the portion size is ample. Plenty of seats. It is a nice neighbourhood restaurant that is good for conversation. You also don't feel pressured to vacate your seat even when you finished your meal. The pho looked small but it's actually quite enough for a person's portion.

I love their Chicken Pho, food is good but the place is beyond filthy. Wasn’t always like this. Saw this and it grossed me out to the point where I couldnt finish my meal so I left my food there and left the restaurant. Here’s a basic principle in restaurants… if this is the front of the house, imagine the back. Please clean your place and ur staff.

Very basic Vietnamese counter service restaurant, but VERY good food! Portion sizes are generous and it is definitely good value. It may not look like much, but one of the better places for lunch in the Village.
