I had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever at Ginger. When I ordered, I asked the front staff about the size of the bowl and they brush my question off and basically yelled at me to hurry up. I couldn’t quite understand what they had even yelled back at me and when I tried to clarify they just yelled again. When I finally got my pho, I found MULTIPLE black hairs in it. Honestly grossed me out so much. I showed the restaurant staff and they completely dismissed me. I felt so nauseated at that point just thinking about the conditions of their kitchen that would lead to this, so I just left without finishing.Rude staff, dirty environment, and doesn’t even meet basic cleanliness standards. Will never return.

Amazing bahn mi, at a great price. 2 of them will fill you up with no problem, and you get a free spring roll to boot. Pricing is great, definitely a steal with the quality they provide. Definitely a great option for any weekday work lunch run, for one or multiple people. I have and will continue to recommend this place to anyone.

Was looking for a spot to grab some quick lunch and decided to get some Banh mi from ginger! The service and food were okay. The Banh mi bread was very tough and hard to bite into, however the toppings made the sandwich a little better. I guess the price reflected the quality of the sandwich - but still expected a little more. Wish the ingredients were more fresh!

Cheap and quick, but far from the best Viet food in Toronto. The meat was done well and the flavours were good, but the bread wasn't the freshest and the sandwich overall was light on vegetables. Not bad, but also not great either.

We had not been in TO for 18 months. Live in Vancouver. What a disappointment from our once fav Pho joint in TO. Is the broth from powder stock now? Even the siracha sauce was watered down. Maybe all done to survive COVID. But time for an upgrade. Sadly, we won't risk trying this location for awhile.

Go to place for budget friendly bahn mi and spring rolls.

The pho here has never disappointed me, it's just a solid pho with all the toppings you'd expect for a good price. The other food is good as well, but you can tell that you get what you pay for, and that it's not really what the place specialises in. I sometimes still order the Vietnamese subs, they're a good deal and pretty filling. The interior looks really worn down and terrible, but I usually get takeout anyway. I also prefer takeout because I can adjust toppings, whereas when I've dined in they put everything in the bowl.

Gave me fish sauce instead of peanut sauce with my fresh rolls. Also ordered other times and there’s no fish sauce with pork chops either

I went to this location at Dundas on Saturday July 3rd. I normally order tofu and vegetable with rice whenever I go to the location near Yonge and Bloor. This location food was awful. the food was not fresh, just a couple of hard carrots and two pieces of broccoli with a bunch old defried tofu. I am not that picky with food but this time I couldn't even eat half the food. I threw it away. Next time I will go to the location on Yonge and Bloor. They know what is fresh there

Had bo kho to go. Soup was tasty, but I did find the portions a tad small. Maybe it's a to go thing. Staff were friendly.

Was not very pleased with the presentation which made a huge difference for me although it was take out! Tried the one at Yonge and Bloor several times...love it...fast service friendly and attentive staff. Food is tastier and presentation is CLEAN!!!

Every Ginger has a different taste. This one is the best so far. So if you are craving Vietnamese fast food and around Yonge and Dundas - check out this Ginger.

Wow! What a fantastic Banh Mi sandwich (assorted). It was absolutely loaded and made quick when I ordered it. I highly recommend and for $5 it's a total no brainer. I will be returning again and again :))))
