Best restaurant in the city. I've only been here twice but it's always been amazing. If I could make more money, I'd eat here every day. This place is only semi expensive because they do it right. The steak(bistecca) could be a little bigger. Staff is super charming and sweet. I want to marry the hostess.

Vegetarian options: They got vegetarian options

Dietary restrictions: They got vegan stuff

Parking: It's Leslieville so you can find side parking depending on the day. May park a little further if you want free

Me and my partner had the most amazing experience at Gio Rana’s. The food is incredible, I highly recommend the Burrata and focaccia. Our server Jellay was not only so kind and knowledgeable but her service was amazing. Our night couldn’t have been better!

Gio Rana’s is definitely our new favourite restaurant, thank you!

Nice restaurant as their name.
Everything was so perfect. Love their tomato sauce: juicy and fresh. I tried almost the menu after 2 times visiting here.
My fav:
- Meat ball with their house made bread
- Creamy pasta with some seed but i dont remember what seed is it
All the employees really nice, friendly and understand their menu.
This restaurant also have house special dish daily.
Lets come and experience
Worth the line !!!!!!

GREAT good! Great ambience!!!

Id like to recommend them to add some vegetables or any carbs to their Osso Bucco dish. Its delicious but needs something to pair it with!

Who hasn’t spoken about the infamous Nose? I’ve been to Gio’s for both larger parties and intimate dinners, and they excel at both. Classic Italian food - but it’s their atmosphere that I love most! #SweepstakesEntry #

We went there to have dinner, overall good experience.
The food is good (we took one antipasti + 2 secondi for 2 it was the right amount).
Risotto balls (good)
Ossobocu (excellent, the sauce is +++)
A special just for day, it was pork belly quite good.
The ossobuco was by far the best realisation.
The atmosphere is nice either, we were on the second room (way better than the principal one as it’s very loud), only remark is that it’s too dark even if they do it on purpose to create an atmosphere.
My only point is it’s a little bit expensive for the quantity, but not egregious either.

I will come back without hesitation.

Love this local quirky spot for not being your typical Italian restaurant. Great vibes and delicious pastas. Music can be a little loud for conversation. Also would love to see them use suppli for take out orders!

Get the giant meatball. And try everything else. Share with everyone you come with.

I have been meaning to drive this place literally for almost 20 years since they open. I finally managed to make my way back down to Leslie Ville and tried it last minute. We managed to grab two seats at the bar without any weight despite the fact that there was probably 100 people waiting to be seated at tables. Staff were all incredibly nice and friendly and helpful from our bartenders to our servers to the hostess.
But the food… The food was absolutely amazing. Possibly some of the best pasta I’ve had anywhere and that incredibly affordable prices with huge portions. We have the deli and the OR with Asha. It was amazing. I would definitely highly recommend these to anyone. That was amazing as well. I would definitely return and I could not recommend this place enough.
