We recently got married at the Gladstone House. We had a total of 101 guests. The venue is absolutely beautiful and unique! I rented the record room in the hotel for the bride, bridesmaids, and mother of bride/mother of groom to get ready in, which was a lot of fun. We also took advantage of the breakfast package which was the perfect amount of fuel for us to get the day started. This is truly the perfect venue for a city wedding with cozy vibes. The food was excellent and had our guests raving about it. The onsite event services manager was fantastic to work with and made our lives a lot easier. I will forever be recommending this venue. It exceeded all of our expectations! Big thanks to the Gladstone House and all of their staff.

Very cute and decorative hotel. The hotel uses an old elevator which is neat. I didnt try the restaurant or café but there is an espresso machine on the 4th floor. My room was on the 3rd floor by the pool table. I could hear the people playing and talking. The walls are thin. Comfy bed. Overall good stay.

I’ve been attending artistic and networking events at Gladstone House for almost two decades, and it continues to hold a special place in my heart. The place still radiates the same creative energy and welcoming vibe that make it so unique. I do miss the beautiful old heritage-style elevator—it was truly one of the property’s gems—but the charm of Gladstone House lives on. It remains wonderfully queer-friendly, perfectly located, and full of character, even if the lack of dedicated parking can sometimes be a small challenge.

Cool boutique hotel in West Queen area of downtown Toronto, famous for being the oldest continually operated hotel in the city. Very small rooms, but nicely appointed. The old school hand operated elevator is very unique, as is the billiards room on the second floor. Enjoyed drinks in the bar area. They have a gym in the basement. No parking on-site but they have an arrangement with the metro garage across the street. Easy walk to a variety of bars and restaurants. Streetcar line runs right out front. Room was quiet, good sleep quality.

I came to Ladostone House for a business meeting about real estate in Tulum, and it was an amazing experience. The place has a sophisticated and relaxing vibe, perfect for productive conversations and creative thinking. The staff was very professional, and the environment truly captures the essence of Tulum — elegant, natural, and inspiring. Highly recommended for anyone in the business world.

Beautiful historic building - immaculately maintained. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Clean rooms. Was very disappointed to find out once we arrived that the bar and restaurant was booked out for a wedding. The check in staff suggested that if we wanted to cancel our reso, she would happily oblidge which was very off putting. It's unfortunate but the staff lack the finesse that the building deserves and definitely detracts from the experience. 3.5 stars.
I really enjoyed my stay here! Staff were really lovely, and rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

From start to finish, we felt so taken care of — the staff and events planner went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Everything was beautiful, intimate, and exactly what we hoped for. They were accommodating to every request and handled everything with such care and professionalism.
We also stayed at the hotel, and it was just as wonderful. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared — every request we made was met without hesitation. It really felt like everyone there was invested in making our stay and wedding day seamless and special.
I’m quite particular and very type A, and the Gladstone team absolutely kept up with me! They made sure every little detail was right. It truly was the best day ever, and we couldn’t be happier we chose the Gladstone House.
