We were a group of 8 on a Saturday evening looking for seating to have food and drinks. There were 3 tables very visibly available but we were told that we could not be seated at those tables as they were reserved for smaller groups. Meanwhile, there was a table.for a large group occupied by only 4 men. Pleading our case we were met with passive aggressive behaviour and no willingness to accommodate us. We ended up leaving the establishment with no intention ever to return.
These are the reasons why places like these lose patronage. They turned a good revenue down out of principle.
Waitress Alby needs to learn manners!!

The place is a gem, it has great influence if Czech beers and the beer tastes great. The sausages are good too, I had a veggie burger and that was delicious. Normally when I visit Toronto this is a go too place with my friends.

The beer is fabulous. As is the food. I think I have found my new favorite watering hole! Had some Peche today. Still awesome.

Genuinely excellent Czech-style beers.

The taproom is comfortable, clean, and welcoming and I'll certainly be back anytime I'm in town.

Service was nop notch. No room for us when we came but the server was very apologetic and up front about options. In the end we got lucky and got seated with our friends. Burger and fries were great. Beer too!

Came here with work colleagues after our summer work party. Got a round a drinks, talked and laughed. Then they came and said we were cut off. Such a surreal situation. We were not loud, we were not rowdy. Just having a drink and laughing. There wasn't even people in the restaurant. Just a slow night on a Wednesday. Would not recommend.

We heard good things about this brewery, and while we came here for the beer, the prezel is what I remember the most. We got a jalapeneo prezzel which came with three mustards that each added something. All three of them seemed really fresh and had a super sharp zest that went well with the prezzel. It wasnt a huge prezzel but we didnt need it to be and for the price it seemed right. The beer was pretty good as well. I liked the lime aftertaste in the loger and the others were light and refreshing. The atmphere was good but nothing too crazy and the staff was very friendly and fast. Overall a good spot.
