Goen is a wonderful Japanese restaurant with fresh, delicious food served in a manner pleased for eyes. The portion is great and prices are reasonable. The salmon sushi is particularly delicious and stands out, and the saba nigiri (Mackerel) is amazing. The Red Dragon Roll and Takoyaki are both amazing. The hot plum sake is cheap and delicious. The staff is always kind, friendly, warm, nice, and attentive. The service is top notch. It is a quiet, cute little place, cozy during the snow. This restaurant is the gem of the neighborhood for excellent food, value, quality of ingredients, and service.
