We found this place after a night out and when I tell you this is the best sushi I have ever had I mean it!! Charlie was our server and he was so sweet and kind, we were all wearing nice dresses and he gave us aprons to make sure they wouldn’t get dirty. The sushi itself was huge and absolutely delicious and the whole time he would check on us and even brought us complimentary noodle soup and orange slices at the end of our meal. The atmosphere is so cozy and comforting, something you wouldn’t expect to find in the middle of Etobicoke. He even got on his tippy toes just to take some group photos of us that came out great! Also the amount you pay for the volume you get is absolutely phenomenal!

SOOOO UNDERRATED. Charlie was so patient with us being the last customers to leave and he served us with complimentary noodle soup appetizers and oranges for dessert. He even gave us aprons because we were wearing white 🥹 so kind. God gifted us this place at the end of an awesome day to top it off🙏

Our experience here was phenomenal. We just saw it on maps, and had very little expectations, but we were absolutely blown away by the food, service and atmosphere. We were served by Charlie, who served us cheerfully, even giving us aprons so we wouldn't stain our clothes. We also got some AMAZING complementary soup, before we got to have our sushi rolls. The rolls barely stayed on the table for 10 minutes because we gobbled them up so fast. They were that good. We were also offered complementary oranges after! This place is truly a hidden gem, and is a must visit for anyone in the area (even if you aren't in the area, it's worth traveling to imo)

When i first walked in, the atmosphere was AMAZING! There was a group of people seated near us and they were talking about how good the food was.Once we were seated they gave us the menu.The guy that served us was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! He gave us complimentary soup while we were waiting for our food. The soup was very heartwarming❤️ We ordered 4 things. They came so quick it took about 15-20 minutes!! CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW QUICK IT WAS!! Then he gave us some type of tea,WHICH OF COURSE WAS AMAZINGG!! When our food arrived it looked SO YUMMY! We LOVED the food!!! AND I EMPHASIZE ON LOVED!!!! Then during our meal he gave us some potato pancakes!! It was a hit with my family😁 Then at the end he gave us YUMMY SLICED ORANGES🍊! He also gave us Airheads!!! OVERALL THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING! HE WAS SO NICE!! FOOD MADE ME FULL AND HAPPY😋😋! IF YOUR IN TORONTO YOU SHOULD COME AND EAT HERE!! I WOULD EAT THERE AGAIN!

No restaurant I have ever been to has treated me and my family with more hospitality than Gojima. In the course of one dinner we got special recommendations, chopstick lessons for my kids, advice around how to best enjoy the leftovers, humour and jokes, the opportunity for the kids to wear chef’s aprons, add on deserts and candy for the kids. All of this and amazing food. They deserve their 30 year legacy as our local go to sushi restaurant. If you haven’t tried them, just go.

This unassuming restaurant has a lot to offer. We dropped by after checking out Gojima's Google reviews and found ourselves in an older restaurant that screamed neighbourhood favourite.
We were greeted warmly and seated in no time. We were offered complimentary appetizers while we waited for our sushi. The sushi was made fresh and quickly. It was well made, with fresh fish and ingredients. It was very tasty and it the spot just right.
The restaurant was opened in 2015 and one can easily why it is still standing today. A nice neighbourhood establishment.
