The burgers are very basic for the price tag. I tried but not going back again eventhoug they are just 3 minutes walk for me. I asked for a napkins, but nowhere to find when I got the burger.

My first experience at Gold Standard was awful. Staff was rude, unwelcoming and borderline unapproachable. Came for a specific item, and the employee said ever so rudely said that “it’s sold out” (it was an hour after they opened up). Regardless of it being sold out, the employee didn’t have any follow up. No, “sorry it’s sold out, would you like to try any of our other items?” - just an abnoxious “it’s sold out”. My friend and I just sat there for 15 seconds waiting for the individual to speak - but it was so awkward and unwelcoming we had to leave. Awful experience.

Super chill spot with delicious breakfast sandwiches and burgers. Have had both a sandwich and burger now and really enjoyed. The burger was “smashing” as we say in the UK (i.e., really really good)

Cute little hole in the wall pickup window just off Roncesvalles on Neepawa.
Friendly service, and relatively quick. We got the Telway Burger, a cute one-person burger.
Tasty and hot, with a nice soft bun.
Unfortunately there was a labelling error. In the group of five we were with, one person’s special order was labeled “cheese only” but it had pickles and mustard… we realized later that Missus didn’t get the pickle.
Overhyped and rude person at the cashier. Thinks they’re doing a favour - stop putting these places on a pedestal, a few good reviews and they think poor customer care is acceptable. Also ended up wit the wrong order

Cute place good food. I think the breakfast sandwich is great, but If you think it is extraordinary, you need to cook more. No seating beyond a bench outside, not shading just stating. I will be back!!
The breakfast Sammies here are uber delicious! The bacon is absolute perfection and the hot sauce balances the sandwich well. It’s a great little spot to grab some breakfast in Roncy!
