I'm back again for more patties. Got 6 spicy beef, 4 jerk chicken and 2 goat. Got them cold to bring home and heat them up in the oven.
It's my first time here. Got 3 jerk chicken patty to go. Thin patties, but loaded with flavor! I wished I would got a few other flavors, like goat, jerk pork, spicy beef or callaloo. I will be back for this fantastic cheap eats. You got to eat here 😋 have a look at my pictures and press the like button!

Pattys were nice and hot, service was quick. Venue was a little run down but to be expected with the location.
Not a fancy place but absolutely great patty’s and jerk food. I had a spicy patty and a jerk pork sandwich. Both were awesome - delicate flaky pastry for the patty and a rich sandwich with pork and slaw on fresh bread. Strongly recommend for a casual takeout bike - say to the park around the corner or something like that.

Patties were alright when cooked. Bought a box to take home, popped it in the freezer, however they were one giant ball when I tried to go cook them.
Can't even separate them now because they were raw pastry frozen. Left them to defrost and they just congealed into some pastry mess.
So just going to trash them.

Incredible patty. Had it here for the first time and was delicious, staff were super friendly and explained to me what it was, and also prices were very reasonable for Toronto food. a must visit on a stroll through Kensington Market, or honestly for an easy snack as it was mine.

A must try spot! I was told to check it out and I did. Doesn’t look like much but the mild beef patty I had for $2.85 was unreal. Very tasty and great value, would recommend.

It's always Patty Time at Golden Patty. Such a great place to stop for a snack or meal. Pastries and baked good area amazing too. You will want to buy everything. Smells delightful in here. You can follow your nose to this place. Staff are so friendly. Cash only please.
FYI, thin patty but it’s under $3. Flaky, tasty. I love the jerk chicken

If you're coming here for Jamaican Patties, you are missing out.
The mango butter cake is amazing, and the cassava cake is even better with the perfect texture and warm spices.
I should probably try the patties one day...
Only downside is the price increases

No AC and open steam heating the shop on a 90° day! CALL THE HEALTH DEPT! It was Goat meat but It was weird! I felt bad for the young girls working there. They were polite and concerned as I am a senior.

Had the coco bread+spicy patty and a bunch of goodies from toogoodtogo. Everything was solid, no real complaints. One of the og patty spots so its worth it to check out just for the history alone.
