Without exaggeration may be the best spot in the city.

One of the nice, small family run old-school diners with simple interiors but the food speaks for itself. The hollandaise sauce is one of the best I've ever had! Our Go-To diner on weekends :)

Almost 25 years ago I used to frequent this restaurant as it was few steps from my place on Erskine Ave. I have fond memories of walking in on cold Toronto days and enjoying hot soup and chicken souvlaki with home fries. The elderly couple behind the counter would diligently prepare dishes and bring to the table. I remember the husband once advised that I shouldn’t order onion rings as it would be a lot for me along with home fries. I thought that was funny, but that is what happens when you are in a family run business. They are not about making a buck, they care for their customers. I am not sure if that elderly couple is still around or if this restaurant is being run by the same family but I just thought it would be appropriate to leave this review even if it’s 25 year late. Thank you for the delicious food and excellent service some 25 years ago.

Good Bite is a gem for brunch and breakfast, by far the best place for both I've been around Yonge & Eglinton, simple, delicious, and the prices are great.

The coffee is amazing, it's not too strong or too light, the staff refill it for free diner style and they're super friendly.

The scrambled eggs were fluffy, bacon and potatoes were crisped to perfection.
We added a chocolate chip pancake on the side and it was supple and soft in the middle.

We were in the area early Saturday and were looking for a place for breakfast and came across this place. We almost overlooked it, but glad we didn't.
Service was speedy and the waitress was very friendly. The food was very tasty and came out very promptly. Portions were just right. The atmosphere had a very family diner feel and you can tell they have been in business for a while and I can see why. Overall we are glad we found this place and would come here again.

The best restaurant with best baby beef liver and mashed potatoes ( home potatoes are excellent as well) in town. It's tender, slightly sweet and melt your heart when you top up with homemade gravy. I come here every week and have never been disappointed.

Upon entering I reflected on 50 years ago when I lived across the street from this restaurant. 😀 It still has that comfy 60s feel with booths and counter seating. But the best of all has to be their food! I had the peameal bacon special which came with generous portions of everything! Delicious and just like I remember. 😋 They have takeout and delivery too. It is a family run business and I can see they care about their patrons. 💖 Their staff are excellent!

Great place to have a breakfast. I really like their French toast, egg Benedict and even their steak is good for the price. Highly recommended.

Food was good, boyfriend and I really enjoyed it. Cheaper than mars and faster. Decoration made me comfortable. Near the end of the meal I asked 2 staff for water, they might’ve not heard me, and after some prodding from my boyfriend went to refill it myself. That wasn’t a winning idea. Left kinda upset, but as long as you don’t do what I did you’ll have an excellent time. Will not be returning.
