Very disappointed in our recent experience having lunch as a big family. We arrived just before 2pm on a Sunday - it was very quiet so we didn't need a reservation. To start, we were told as soon as we arrived that 20% gratuity would automatically be added to the bill. I have no problem with this rule - so long as the experience warrants it, and unfortunately this experience did not. There was 1 cook and 1 waitress (serving, making drinks, cleaning, etc.), which looked like it would be fine as the place was empty when we arrived, however, as it filled up it really delayed things and took forever to order and for food and drinks to arrive. As we ordered drinks, we were advised that no cherries would come with the Shirley Temples as "they don't have cherries. it's a budget thing". We asked for 3 of 11 meals to be prioritized as they had to leave early, and 45 mins later we were still waiting for the 3 prioritized meals. The remaining dishes took another 40+ mins, and the last one (kids pizza) took over an hour. When we followed up on the last meal, we were told that the pizza burned, so they had to make it again. Things happen, but tell us so that we're not left frustrated and wondering if it was missed. Finally, when we considered ordering dessert, she suggested not to get the Crema Catalana as "they've not figured out how to make it well yet". With only 3 desserts on the menu to begin with, we opted to grab dessert on the way home instead. It's difficult to give an honest review of the food given the disappointing experience, though if I had to rate my dish, I'd give it a 6.5/10. The pizzas looked good. Everyone who got pasta was underwhelmed. Management should be ashamed for having only 2 employees in on a Sunday of a long weekend. The slow service and comments around "lack of budget" and not having mastered certain dishes are not deserving of the automatic 20% gratuity. We will not be back.

I was quite disappointed with the order I received. The cheese cake and tiramisu did not taste fresh, especially the tiramisu. I’ve had many it and it tasted off. The cheese cake did not arrive with the cherry garnishes/jam and they also forgot to send the dip that I was charged for. It was unfortunate. The margherita pizza was ok

Excellent italian food. Their pizzas are made with real ingredients, home made tomato sauce (I recommend you to ask extra in a separate container to dip the borders!) and baked on oven in the traditional way.Parking: There is a GreenP at the back of the restaurant. Google maps actually send you to where the parking is.
Pizza was delicious . The rest not good at all. Don’t order the gnocchi. Pics look better that actual dish . They brought gnocchi dried up first then my boyfriend’s veal . Took a long time .

The food was alright... We had ordered for a pizza and a pasta .... The place is super expensive not sure the reason for that..... The service was alright not great... Overall an ok experience... Might not visit again ... The place looks very good and the atmosphere was nice...

Had a quick lunch here with a friend. Service was excellent. We were alone in the restaurant which was really good. There is no pressure to leave we just had time. Food was amazing very flavourful and not too heavy even though it was a lot. Good spot for an Italian restaurant on the West End.
Food is very good. We always order the Capricciosa pizza. The Cotoletta Al Marsala is good too - mashed potato a little too oily but flavour was very good nonetheless.

If you see reviews on here anything less than a 4-star I can also guarantee those people are from a competitor, inferior pizza shop than that of Goodfellas. Being from the Chicago area I know good pizza and I am a pizza aficionado. Was I skeptical being in Canada wondering if the pizza around here would be good? Yes. However, Goodfellas is not good - it's FANTASTIC. Go over and get a woodfire pizza that tastes as authentic as the day I ate pizza in a small shop in Italy. Do not look any further. Go now, go tomorrow and go often. I guarantee you will love it.

Nice pizza/Italian place with a good menu selection, especially vegetarian options. Accommodated food allergy. Pizzas are really nice. Plenty of (paid) parking nearby.Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian items in Pizza, pasta and other dishes.Dietary restrictions: Accommodated egg allergy. Pizza dough does not have eggs and penne pasta could also be made with egg-free sauce. Soup as well.
