I’ve been coming here for 5 years now and it was always a good experience. I usually order arepas, cachapas, empanadas, tequeños or parrilla mixta. Sadly, last time I came here with my husband, we ordered the parrilla mixta and were disappointed. Meat was dry and the whole plate was really salty. We left a bit disappointed. The tequeños were great as always.

The gordo ex is my nostalgic place. Food is amazing. I recommended this restaurant with my friends and they loved it.
We waited over 30 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, the steak was overcooked and slightly burnt. When we asked the waitress about portion sizes, she showed us something half the actual size and said it wasn't too big. Based on her recommendation, we ordered an additional main dish with two appetizers. In the end, the portions were much larger than she led us to believe, and we barely touched one of the main dishes. It felt like we were misled just to order more food so they can make more money. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, but ok to go try something new.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times already, and I have hesitated about leaving a good or a bad review since I found that food is good, but the service has never been great but in my last visited I think I had enough of this service.
All these people working there have no idea about customer service they are not friendly at all. The blonde lady at the cashier machine always has such a bad attitude, and the way that she replies to you is even worse. Even though food is good, I think I will look for another Venezuelan restaurant instead
