Food is of good quality, ambience is great too. But the portion size is ridiculously small.

This is an interesting place for sure, and one that many people probably wouldn't enter unless they were part of it. We stumbled across it because it seemed healthy and cheap. My partner is Indian and wanted to try. The food is actually so nice, all vegetarian but you wouldn't miss meat. The thali is delicious and I love that you have a bit of everything. For $16 I was stuffed! The atmosphere is very calming but i almost feel like I can't make much noise lol. Definitely somewhere I'd eat again.

The best vegetarian sattvik food in Toronto! If you want food that was cooked with intention and love.. food cooked for the Lord Himself, then you must try Govinda's, and enjoy delicious prasad in the lap of Krishna.

They have started watering down their dishes. The quality and taste has taken a huge hit. The thali’s are not worth the price anymore. What a shame as I used to order from here almost every day!

The food was okay, but I was surprised that the seats and tables were so basic—especially in a building like that. I expected a higher level of design and seating.

Disappointed by recent chages.

I’ve been a long-time visitor of Govinda’s at ISKCON Toronto and used to genuinely enjoy the food, affordability, and the generous portions that made it feel welcoming and accessible to all. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me quite disappointed.

The prices have increased significantly, but what’s more concerning is that the portion sizes have decreased drastically. Spending $20–$30 for a meal and still leaving hungry is not what I would expect from a place that has always been associated with the spirit of service and community.

I understand that costs rise, but when the value and experience take such a noticeable hit, it feels out of step with the principles one expects from a temple-affiliated restaurant. I truly hope Govinda’s can revisit their approach, as many of us who used to cherish the experience are now feeling priced out and let down.

The food is delicious and the people are so nice. It was not spicy so my daughter could eat everything. There was a lovely music in the background and the chai they have is delicious. Not too sweet and just the right amount of spices. We will definitely go back again. 😊😊😊

The food and atmosphere were delightful! Everything on the menu was vegetarian, and almost everything that wasn’t vegan by default could be made vegan upon request. They are a cash-free establishment, so make sure you’re prepared to pay by card.

The menu was much different then expected. We were only offered a the tali, no other dishes as seen on the website. I had the mixed vegetables with my dish - it had one piece of cauliflower and the rest was tofu. I was not told there would be tofu in the meal - I am unable to eat tofu and other soy products. I was quite shocked to find out the tea was $4 for a mug of hot water and a tea bag; For that cost, I'd have expected a pot. I had to go to the server to get more hot water. Above all, the dishes were not very warm and by the end, cold.
