They had run out of fish and chips at 6:10 when we ordered on a Saturday night. For an Irish pub that was depressing. We also waited for 45 mins for our food and we had theater tickets so we had to eat quickly to be able to make it on time.
Food was great, service not so much. Forgot half the table's order, then forgot again so food for half came well after the rest finished. Did take it off the bill though, so thank you for that. Did not seem to have 1 server for the table so perhaps that would help.
We stopped into this Irish pub for dinner before heading to the theatre, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on — welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and beautifully prepared food. Every dish we ordered was fantastic, comforting yet elevated, and exactly what we were hoping for. It was the ideal pre-theatre meal: relaxed, delicious, and unrushed.
